    Closest thing to homemade...
    I really enjoyed this fresh, flavorful sauce- it had a well balanced depth of flavor, featuring oregano and garlic, that is enhanced by olive oil. My family of two used the Sicilian Herb Sauce in a chicken marinara recipe, and also in a cheese ravioli recipe. Both were excellent. I really liked that the Vero Gusto line has no preservatives, artificial ingredients, added sugar, and is non GMO certified. Additionally, the Vero Gusto website offers various recipe suggestions for each of their four sauces, which is really helpful... and they don't all involve main pasta dishes! While this is a higher priced pasta sauce, the homemade quality and fresh taste really makes it worth the price. I did receive a coupon for a free jar in exchange for my honest review from PinchMe

    Poor Quality of Packaging and Shipping
    The Classico sauce is excellent. The packaging and shipment methods are far below standard. The package was delivered with one end of the box torn open. Two jars inside the box were broken. The sauce from the broken jars had spilled over the four boxes of crackers that were also packed in the same box. Out of six jars of Classico and four boxes of Town House Flatbread crackers packed in the same shipping box, only four jars of Classico were salvaged. This is unacceptable.

    Great pasta sauce!
    I'll be buying this pasta sauce again and in the very near future. I especially love the fact that this pasta sauce tells you there's less than 2% sugar in it. I hate pasta sauce that tastes real sweet. That's one main reason I chose Classico Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce because it says on the bottle that it contains less than 2% of sugar.

    years ago and now I use no other. It is the best because they don't add so much sugar like other brands and you can spice it up as you like it or eat it as it comes out of the jar.
