I often buy these for my addictive oatmeal cookie recipe...Yummy and very fresh--soft and clean tasting. These are just as good as any name brand I've tried, ever.

Damaged Product
I disliked that the item arrived open with raisins spilled all over the packing box. This box of raisins arrived damaged with raisins spilled all over the packing box. When I went to try to get a replacement online, they wanted me to return it? Really? You want me to mail you back a bunch of raisins? I took a picture of it. No more ordering things like this online from Walmart. Amazon is stress free and worth a few more cents not to deal with this nonsense.

    Hidden Price Hike!
    WARNING! Walmart is using the old manufacturer's trick of downsizing the amount of their product. It WAS 20 ounces, but they've slimmed the container down and made it only 18 ounces! Don't think we don't notice, because we do, and it's very irritating! (I had a nice chat with a fellow customer and he had noticed it too.) I'd rather they be honest and just hike the price. We all know prices on everything are going up. And we both noticed they'd done the same thing with their prunes, so beware!

    Some of my cartons were very wet and soggy on the inside, while other packages were normal and had a normal smell. I was lucky I opened all of these the day they arrived, to put them into a big glass jar. I put the raisins on dehydrator trays and dried them out an additional 3 days and most were fine. The squirrels and birds ate ones that smelled like wine.

    Best Raisins for Raisin Bread Ever!
    Ok, these little raisins are Super Powerful at providing lots of Sweet gooey goodness to Raisin Bread that it makes it very hard to resist eating Raisin Bread at every meal! Ok, so I made typical Whole Wheat Raisin Bread with yeast right? But, this time I made a special Raisin Bread, as this time I changed things up a bit, I used the Great Value brand of raisins instead of the other Brand Name Raisins I'd typical use, also, I added about 3 TBSPs of Dark Cocoa Powder, Dashes of Ceylon Cinnamon and about 1 tsp of Turbinado Sugar (which I don't normally use in Bread), and then upon tasting the final product, I was brought to another world of Flavor I've never been before. I mean, I threw away almost about a loaf my previous Whole Wheat Bread the other night, but this New Raisin Bread, I never would of thought that I finished the entire loaf in just 2 days time! Absolutely delicious bread and raisins, the raisins imbedded into the Whole Wheat walls of the bread retained their moisture, sweetness and maple-like flavor throughout the nearly 400 Degree Fahrenheit and roughly 40 minute baking cycle. You don't need to use a cup of sweetener in raisin bread nor cookies when you use the awesome natural sweetness the raisins themselves! Speaking of cookies, this bread reminded me of cookies, as the slices were both very sweet and savory. The raisins were bundled up nicely and were very well preserved within the container. The container lid fits snug and provided an excellent seal for later use. In regard to the quantity of raisins I used, I used about half the container for the Whole Wheat Chocolate Raisin Bread Recipe. Thank You so very much for the magnificent Raisins!

    My favorite raisins
    Great price for sweet, soft raisins, but be sure to put them into a sealed container after you open them. Once the seal has been opened on the container its lid allows lots of air to come in and the raisins will quickly become dry and slightly hard. I put them in a Ziplock bag after opening and they fresh and SOFT!

    The raisins are top quality, fresh and smell good and are tasty. I would have given it 5 stars if the white inner lid under the cap had not been opened a couple of inches. I did see they had tried to take the outer purple lid on so even though the purchase wasn't packaged the way it should have been, I decided to keep it as it was delivered right when I ordered it last time. Next time though, the need to do better. Imagine if it were your meds with the inner seal open? Never.

    Yummy Raisins
    More often than not, you're going to find that store brand is better than premium, or at least; equal to them. These raisins are like that. Like any other raisin, they are plump, sweet & a great snack. Use these for whatever you want raisins for; salads, cooking, a snack, mixing your own trail mix. They are fantastic, & fresh. They also come with a much lower price.

    Same healthy in iron, good/sweet tasting but cost less because it is a Walmart brand. Most of their Great Value and Equate products equal the quality of name brand products. You just save an awful lot of money. I have had people finally try buying things there and they have been amazed at the savings with quality matching famous brands. My daughter bought 3 items & saved $7 for an example. These raisins are great and I put them in carrot cakes, muffins etc.. when I bake as I am iron deficient and need a natural product to keep me going. Would also be great for child snacks or adult trail mixes you make yourself. Delivery was free and on time. They checked to see if I was happy with products after purchase etc.. I could not ask for more. I need delivery as I am sometimes shut in without being able to get the transit bus. Healthy and sweeten all. Hope this helps. SaraBeth
