How did I live before this Dyson
It's been 3 days since I've purchased this vacuum and I have to say that I am obsessed! I've been using a $15 Dirt Devil for years and I had no idea that I have been living in such filth. First, this model is the higher end of the cordless vacs Dyson has. There's not a whole lot assembling required, simply, unpack and you're off. The vacuum itself is really light, yet powerful. The attachments are easy to click on and click off and cleaning is a breeze. I use this vacuum everyday just to make sure I don't have excess dirt hidden anywhere.

Huge disappointment!
Personally, I do not really understand where are all those positive reviews are coming from?! The only good thing about this vacuum is how easy the assembly was. Everything else is really bad and huge disappointment considering how expensive this thing is! Suction is not even close to be as powerful as they advertise because even in max mode it does not pick up any large crumbs or any hair. The size of the dirt cup is really small and very uncomfortable to empty it out and properly clean up. The battery life is extremely short and those 20 minutes they promise in the description is just another false advertisement. On top of that there is no indicator that the battery is about to die it just suddenly stops and that is it. And there is no option to take the battery out to charge and get the spare one because the battery is not removable so you stuck with charging the unite 10 minutes after you started vacuuming and have to put everything on hold! So with such short battery life all you would be able ever to do with this vacuum is only touch up jobs, but for the price you have to pay this is really unacceptable. Another flaw is the filter which fells out every time you try to vacuum something up high. But the worse thing about this vacuum is the fact that it has no power button like the switch on/off so you have to hold down the power trigger the whole time you are vacuuming and this is such a pain! So for sure I do not recommend this vacuum to anyone.

    A bargain!
    Battery lasts about a half hour. Perfect for cleaning the car or a small apartment (1000 feet?) on one charge. Gets pet hair no problem. Great for cleaning stairs!

    Dyson Cordless V6 Animal Vacuum
    Love this cordless vacuum. I live in a condo with hardwood floors, it not only sucks up the tiny fine crumbs, and hair, but also that fine dust. Light weight, and goes under the lowest areas of furniture and cabinets. Easy to store, hangs on wall inside of a closet with cord plugged in at the same time for charging. Only one negative you have to hold down the power button to keep it running. Battery runs for about fifteen minutes, on the higher power mode, longer if less suction mode. Great Buy!

    Definitely does the job!
    Hated to spend so much money on a vacuum cleaner, but it is well worth it! We are still vacuuming up dirt the old vacuum left behind.

    Battery last to short.
    Needs a better lithium battery. Needs more debris capacity. Seems to have no way to charge while in storage wall rack.

    Excellent Vacuum!
    I've always used the Animal Upright Vacuum from Dyson, and this is so much easier to use! I still love the upright because it is very powerful and picks up all the dirt and dog hair off of my floors, but this cordless is great because it is so much lighter than the upright! It is still very powerful and great for a quick, easy, clean. I also love that it has multiple accessory heads so that I can use this for multiple purposes. No complaints! I am an associate of Walmart.com and I received this item as a sample in exchange for a review.

    Dyson v6 Animal Cordless Vacuum
    Wanted a cordless vacuum for awhile and did a lot of online research. When I saw this one on sale on Walmart.com, I had to pounce. I have had it for about two weeks and really like it. It comes with ample accessories so you don't really need to buy extras. It is very versatile - use as a small handheld or upright vac. I'm a kamikaze vacuumer - I run over everything in the way - so I was consistently running over the cord on my Oreck which you can tell by the number of black electrical tape fixes. The v6 Animal fits the bill. As many reviews say, it is more suitedt for a small apartment or house. I have a two-story, 2200 sq ft house. But, I just break up my vacuuming into two stints or do some of it with the v6 Animal and then follow up with my corded one. The battery does only last 20 minutes or so and the dust catcher is rather small. But, the cordless convenience and performance far outweighs any shortcomings in my book! Give it a try.....

    Great great product. I love the easiness of grabbing it and going straight to work with it. It works great on getting up the dog hair and I don't even have to use the maximum power to do it. ❤️
