love it
we originally didn't want to get a metal bed so first we bought the cheapest wooden bed from walmart, got it up to our 3rd floor apartment, put it together and although the wood was nice we realized the kids could easily jump on it and probably break the wood slats and im only 5'3 and couldn't sit on the bed without ducking and hitting my head so after a month of being unhappy we took it apart back to walmart got a refund and ordered this one online for the same price just spent an extra 130 on a really great futon mattress, I had one like this when I was a kid and I remember doing all sorts of stuff and it never broke. it came in the store a few days early one huge box my poor boyfriend had to carry upstairs but when it was all put together I was so happy. the kids love it and even my 6'2 boyfriend can sit on it and not hit his head. its also great for making tents on the bottom bunk, the only thing that worries me is when a kid gets on the top it wobbles a bit but I think that's just what a metal bunk bed does, it still seems very safe.

APPALLED at the condition of it when it got to me.
We ordered this bed site to store pickup. The condition of the box was awful, but we were hopeful that the bed would not be damaged. IT WAS! There were broken foot pieces, many bad chips in the paint. Bent metal pieces. We had to go ahead and put it together because our daughters needed something to sleep on, but I sure hope Walmart will make this right somehow!!!! I wish I could upload more than 2 pics here because I have about 10 pics of different damage to the bed.

    Love these beds!
    Although I read a lot of the reviews and some were very negative, I ordered two of these beds for my children to remodel their rooms. I will have to say that the set up was a breeze, I am not sure about the other reviews where people were complaining about how long it took and the instructions not being correct, well I am not sure what those issues could have possibly been, because common sense is basically all you would need besides instructions for which types of bolts go where. Set up two beds in an hour and a half, of course the first one took a few minutes longer being that it was the first one, but the second one, no need for instructions, very simple. They are a little shaky, but nothing you can't fix by purchasing some "U" fasteners and securing it to the wall if need be. There was a few scratches on on them, but Hello they are packaged well and things happen, get some touch up paint and deal with it, for the price you really cannot complain. We love the look and are very happy with our purchase of both beds. We would highly recommend these beds.

    We purchased the set as a gift for Christmas. for occasional sleepovers and fort making which is just what we needed. Not great for every day use. Bit rickety

    This bed was very easy to assemble. Having your own tools would be nice. The ones that come with it are small. The instructions were great, everything was labeled and set up nicely. Sturdy and sound. My daughter loves it! Happy kid happy mom.

    Great product for the price
    First off the product took FOREVER to arrive. I never got a call from the shipping company- I had to contact them multiple times to figure out when this was going to be delivered. They kept giving me the run around and never had a set day/time. Then it just shows up with no warning at all- luckily my husband was home because they make you sign for it! As you can see the box was all beat up and had holes all over it. None of the pieces were damaged though. Next was putting it together. It took my husband and I about 1 hour 10 minutes. You will need TWO people! Its a great bunk bed for the price so I cant really complain too much and I am glad I had it shipped to our house because the box is SO heavy and big. We are now just waiting on the futon mattress to arrive today hopefully. **We had NO issues putting this together and none of the pieces were messed up. I'm not sure why some reviews say it takes 3+ hours.. Maybe lack of common sense? Just watch the youtube video first and then its breeze!

    Upon arrival it was damaged in approximately 6 spots (that I noticed) and youu need a minimum of two people to put this together

    Inspect carefully
    overall nice bed. Once the box was opened and construction was well underway, we notice a kink in the top of the bunk bed. I would recommend inspecting each piece very carefully before you begin construction. We chose delivery to the store and picked it up there. we did not notice any damage to the packaging.

    Great bed!
    Very cute bed! We are using it in my 4 year old's room. Easy to assemble. Sort of wobbles when climbing to get on to top bunk, but not so much that its unsafe. Serves as a great jungle gym! haha!

    Good Bed For Price
    I bought this bed for my 12 year old daughter. It serves its purpose well for the price I paid. It was fairly easy to assemble with my daughter's help in a few places. My only complaint is despite tightening all the bolts/screws, the bed still has a slight wobble when my daughter is climbing the ladder or moving around on the top bunk. It's not horrible but I would be a lot happier if it had more sturdiness to it. The assembly instructions are by picture only with no written instruction aside from numbers on amount of parts needed. It takes a bit to get used to but I managed just fine after I read through all the steps. I did appreciate how well the parts were packaged, with each bolts, screw, etc. in it's own pouch with a number label. It made assembly much easier to accomplish. Overall, I am pleased with the bed and would recommend it for the price paid.
