Great product. Good Price.
This is a very good night vision piece. It gives amazing clarity compared to my first-gen monocular. The price is relatively low for a model with these features. I do not understand why another customer had a problem. I flipped the power on and it worked. However, I do highly recommend reading the manual thoroughly with a piece of equipment such as this before you remove it from the box. Also, if this is your first purchase of night vision equipment, I highly recommend the one available for 150 dollars at walmart.com. I have one, and it is great for a first time user to get familiar with how the equipment works and is affected by ambient light. However, the ATN model is of much higher quality, and when you want it for seeing where you step, the lowest magnification is best. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in a high-quality night vision system.

What a disapointment
My husband has had these on his Christmas list for three years. Finally I purchased them - because of the cost they were his only gift. He took them out of the box, put the battery in and nothing! They did not work. While taking the battery back out the line connecting the battery cover to the lens cover broke off. Now I have to send them back. Don't waste your money.

    I haven't had a chance to truly put these to any tests, but the couple hours I have used them now has me a believer. They are a very quality, budget NVG option. Very close to the military unit I used. Very satisfied.

    night vision
    These are amazing toys. The adjustments are easy and the viewing is great. There are newer generations that have more clarity and definition, but for the price these can't be beat. For all practical uses the definition and clarity these have are all you need. I cannot get the headgear to hold the binocular at the correct angle, without a lot of jostling around and make it stay put. That said, I did not choose these to wear with head gear, so it is a minor point for me. They are worth the money.

    I ordered them on Monday afternoon with 2 day express shipping and they arrived Friday morning. They're as good as the AN-PVS 7s we used in the Gulf War. I would highly reccomend these. Thanks ATN!
