Great monitor
The monitor itself is beautiful. The matte finish and faux metal stand looks awesome and the matte screen is amazing too. The spring loaded height adjustment is weighted perfectly, I tried adjusting it before putting the screen on and it was fairly hard to move but once I put the screen on I can adjust it with one finger. Assembly was very easy and so is disassembly, to remove the screen from the stand there is a button underneath that you press and lift the monitor away. I tested the 144hz capabilities playing some csgo and it is noticeably soother then 60hz, unfortunately I can't attest to the freesync capabilities since I only have a 270X which isn't freesync compatible. The OSD requires a little getting used to and I had to read the manual to learn how to navigate it. Also a weird little thing I found is that when you enable one of the modes (game mode for instance) when you turn that mode back off it reverts to the default settings and you have to manually adjust it again.

    Real nice monitor at a great price!
    This is a great monitor! I did not need it for gaming. Had to fit on my desk. The one it replaced was too small and was hurting my eyes. The adjusting up and down is a real plus. You just move it! I was looking for a lever or release and there is none. Just give it a a push. More room for the documents on the screen. Nice clear picture.

    This is a great monitor. The color is very clear and it's a great size. You can use it as an extra tv if you have a fire stick or you can use it as a computer monitor. It is very versatile.

    Best computer monitor for ALL applications
    There are a lot of features to the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor that any video gamer would like. Acer is one of the best standard video gaming monitors out in the market. When I received the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor, I was planning on using this computer monitor for 3D graphics and structural schematic drawings. I am an engineer and I do a lot of 3D graphics, solid molding, and schematic drawings. I was told by somebody at work that the gaming monitors are best used for presentation, CAD designs, 3D graphics, and charts. It was by accident that a colleague of mine didn't have a standard computer to use at home and he ends up using his son's gaming computer. I know it defeats the purpose of owning a gaming monitor if I'm going to use it for something else. But what makes the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor is the versatility of use by providing good graphics for gaming as well as other application. The Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor is 1080 high definition and colors are vibrant. I believe that resolution is standard for all gaming monitors. However, using the high definition features of the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor provides extreme details on all my 3D models and renderings. Acer's quick response with no lag time made my 3D modeling project a cinch. Acer's lightning-quick response time is something that will amaze you whether you are gaming or creating stunning 3D graphics. The 3D graphics and visuals on the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor are superb – it can definitely handle complex graphics applications. The Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor ErgoStand provides adjustability and comfort. And of course, for those who will be using the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor for the first time, always refer to the manual to properly use the monitor. The Acer package comes complete with the monitor, base, accessory cords, and an easy-to-read manual. Overall, I am extremely happy with the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor. I know a lot of people look for Acer monitors for gaming purposes. Unfortunately, for me, my intention for the Acer 24 XF Series 1080p HD LCD Monitor is productivity. I was not disappointed with the performance of this monitor. Creating stunning graphics and complex and well-detailed 3D models made me a believer.     The Acer 24 1080p DP HDMI DVI 144Hz 1ms NVIDIA GSYNC HD LCD Monitor - XF240H has great definition to animation. No flickering while programming, the low light helped to keep my eyes from drying up since i have dry eye problem and it was compatible with my tower. The size 24 was enough to even make my eyes catch the details with a 3D effect when you admire the 1080 pixels. The monitor can be positioned side or upright which also helps since my computer chair reclines. Definitely a first starter to experienced programmer monitor.

    Awesome Gaming Monitor
    Got this Acer Gaming Monitor to test. Grandson living with me goes to college. He has a PS3 and loves to game. He wanted to try it. This is a large Monitor with unique qualities. It was very easy to adjust up or down, and swiveled virtually any direction. It did not take up space and you could install it anywhere on the table. The picture quality was awesome and my grandson loves it. I asked him if liked it, and that is the only description he would give me about the Monitor. He said "It is an awesome Monitor". I give it 5 Stars and would recommend it to any gamer wanting a great product!!!

    I recently received the Acer 24 1080p DP HDMI DVI 144Hz 1ms NVIDIA GSYNC HD LCD Monitor - XF240H and I cannot believe how incredible this is!!!! First off, I am not a "gamer" or even close. That being said, I do work on my computer every day for real estate and I find the clarity pretty difficult for everyday reading and photos. WELL NOT ANYMORE!!! THIS SCREEN DEFINITION IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! Had to capitalize all that because it's just that good! (sorry) I had no idea a monitor could have such finite clarity! The size is absolutely perfect for me as well. I will recommend this to anyone at anytime as you never know what you never knew! Amazing and beyond belief! If you're in the market for a new and great monitor, here's the one you need!!
