Sloooooooowwwww
I bought this because of Acer's reputation and the expectation that this would be adequate since my computing needs are simple. I'm not a gamer so mostly just email and web browsing. Unfortunately this computer isn't really up to those needs either. Slowest computer I've used since the old Commodore 64 that you went to get coffee while it booted up. Real easy to confuse it into locking up because it has a computer IQ of about 40. On the plus side there is so much Acer bloat ware on there that is tough to use other software. Too late to take it back so either going to trashcan it or put in a digital drive to run the system and leave the other for old emails. Don't look at the price just look for a better computer.

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/13/2016Emergency Backup OnlyI'd only recommend this machine as an emergency backup for when your main computer goes down and needs repaired. I purchased this a few hours ago, and it's pretty rough. ANd I did buy it as an emergency backup cause I have to work this weekend and something went wrong with my main machine that I don't have time to properly diagnose as I am too busy. The description of this machine is wrong. It has 2 HDMI ports and that's it. No VGA. No DVI. When I got it home, I had to turn around and return to walmart to get an HDMI to VGA adaptor. You'll find it in the OTHER wires section for Audio and Video equipment . . . not minitor cables. That'll bring your total purchase price to closer to $300 not $250. It will not install AVG so you are stuck with MAcafee which is subpar in comparison. Just for that reason, I don't expect this thing to last very long. It'll prolly be virus inundated by the end of the week. So far I have notepad open 6 tabs, 1 messenger and 1 word processor open and it's already struggling. I haven't even begun to use this thing. It's definitely not a gaming machine. Also, you won't be able to use your wireless keyboard and mouse with this thing. I plugged mine it and they wouldn't stay connected. So I had to use the keyboard and mouse that came with it. That's 2 of your 4 USBs. Since there's no speakers in it, you'll have to plug a separate set of speakers into it. that will prolly be your 3rd USB. Now I get to swap the last USB between my printer and the charger for my phone. As I said . . it's a good price for an emergency computer, but I wouldn't want to use this thing for any extended period of time. Hopefully, I won't have to.ShadowConn

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/04/2016Waste of money and timeBought this in my local Wal Mart store in Feb of this year. It's just May, and I am looking at having to buy another computer already. This one started giving me issues about a month after I got it (the ports on the back stopped working). Then, I started having issues with the hard drive, which gave up the fight at the end of April. And forget about Acer honoring the manufacturer's warranty- they look for any excuse to get out of honoring it. I had another Acer product that lasted about a year before the power plug in on the back starting malfunctioning. My advise would be just to spend a little more and buy a better system from another company- you are taking a chance at losing $250 with this one.kmom5

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/23/2016Excellent computer; Bad operating systemThis computer itself is amazing, but the windows 10 OS preinstalled on it isn't so good. This computer + dedicated GPU (limited by small PSU) = medium-end gaming PC. The computers main features i liked are the 2 PCI slots (one normal, and one mini), The computer did take forever to get set up, and i had to delete the bloatware which takes away CPU time, and there were a few issues i ran into such as random kernel panicking, and lag spiked, but other than that it's a good PC.Shadow
