Clever!
$5 toy and works just like the commercial.....can't go wrong with that! Not as large as a standard soccer ball but large enough for indoor play. Basically a ball cut in half and attached to one of those carpet slider discs used to move furniture..clever!

It doesn't work
I have a 3 year old and this does nothing for her. It does not glide as it shows on tv. And then when you see the fine print on the package it specifies it works better on carpet. They forgot to mention that on the commercial.

    works great on carpet
    This is a fun toy that is for indoors. Bought this for my kids and they love it. I can't believe that it works better on carpet than wood floors. When kicked it does not leave the ground like a normal ball.

    Best indoor sports equipment ever!
    My 5 year old loves it! This soccer "ball" glides across clean floors with ease. The top is soft, so it doesn't damage furniture legs. It stays on the floor, so not much risk of knocking over lamps and stuff. The bottom is smooth, slippery plastic like furniture sliders, so you can play on any hard floor or rug. It allows us to play a vigorous indoor game during foul weather. The only downside: I can tell when my floor needs sweeping, because you can hear when it glides over dirt or grit.

    great family fun
    The whole family loves it. We ended up buying two more, one for my sister's cause they loved it SO much too. Best toy we ever bought for our kids. Heck we even play with it.

    Fun toy, even if it doesn't "hover"
    I love this thing. I keep one in the office and kick it around all the time. I also bought one for my nephew, and he loves it (11 years old). As for what it is - the top "soccer ball" part feels similar to a nerf ball - a bit dense but won't do damage to walls, etc. The bottom part is a smooth plastic, similar to the bottom of a furniture glider. How's it glide? Low pile carpet: slides very well. Tile: slides OK, makes a loud noise. Gets a little scratched up if the floor isn't 100% clean. Kick it like a real soccer ball, just don't try and get any air underneath or it may flip. May be better for kids 8+ - younger ones may not get that it's not a real ball.
