Great addition to my weight collection
This 26.5lb kettlebell gives me more versatility in my workouts, with the ability to squat, shrug and swing more weight than my dumbbell set allowed me to. The kettlebell has a nice black powder coat, and the weld marks are smoothly finished. It has the aesthetics of a much more expensive gym brand, but without the same price tag!

Versatile Tool For Exercise
I got the 8 KG, 17.6 Lbs, kettlebell. I'm glad I got the big one. In fact, I would like to get one a little bit bigger. I'm a big guy, so 8 KG is a medium sized one for me. The great thing about these kettlebells is the only limitation to the number of exercises you can do with them is your imagination, and the fact that they're a little bit awkward to handle vs a normal dumbbell. This kettlebell is cast iron, meaning it's all one piece, very sturdy, with no weak spots to break or crack. It has a flat bottom for sitting stable when you put it down. I've been enjoying the simplicity of it, I've been using it to get a bit of extra exercise in while I'm watching TV. I just pick it up and do a variety of exercises with it. If you want a versatile weight that you can use to get some exercise in during your down time, or if you have a specific purpose for it, this kettlebell is great. It's very well made and definitely gets the job done. The only issue with these is they can be a little awkward to handle when you're doing certain exercises with them because the weight is unevenly distributed. I'm rating this kettlebell 4 stars, it's a great tool, but it can be a little difficult to handle for some exercises.

    Good addition to your gym
    I love this fantastic addition to my home gym. Its solid and of a good build quality. It has a nice smooth finish to it and seems to be of high quality just like the ones you would find at the gym. Its of a perfect size and can be used for so many exercises like squats, deadlifts, lateral and front raise etc. The grip surely is comfortable and does not slip out of hands. Seems quite durable too. Definitely a good buy of you are looking to add some kettle bells to your gym

    Twenty seven pounds of muscle building kettlebell!
    Nice quality cast iron kettlebell. Casting is coated in a smooth hammer silver coating and no sharp edges on the casting so it's cleanly cast with no flashing or sharp edges and easy to grip. Flat bottom and flat front keeps the kettlebell stable straight up on the floor or flat down on its face. Kettlebell is clearly labeled with the weight in both Kg and Lbs. There are lots of great exercises to do at home with a single kettlebell. Easy internet searches will reveal exercises to target your whole body from upper body, core, back, to lower body. I've been using it mostly for upper body and will pick it up for a few sets throughout the day while I'm working or just have a few minutes. Allows me to get in some exercise without needing to go to the gym. Much more consistent and convenient. I got the 26.5lb kettlebell (verified on my scale) and it's been great for quick arm workouts and just stores easily in the closet when I'm done. Doesn't take up much space and easy to just pick up for another set whenever I'm ready. Couldn't be happier with the quality and convenience of this kettlebell.

    Great finish
    The handle is good. If you have larger hands, this will be a one handed kettle-bell. A nice weight, not too heavy to be unwieldily, not too light to not be useful. It has a nice finish, and seems to hold up to some sustained use. Overall, really nice piece of work out equipment.

    Correct weight, and comfortable grip
    This kettlebell weights exactly as advertised (8 Kg). The handle is good to provide a firm grip. The finishing is nice quality and the color is nice. This does not have a plastic cover around the kettlebell, it's completely cast iron with no covering.

    Well worth it!
    The kettlebell by Athletic Works is a nice addition to any home gym. Very functional. Handle is easy to grip and comfortable to use. Finish is nice and bur free. There is a texture but it is smooth to the touch. Looks like this will last a very long time. Highly recommended product.

    Smooth Finish Great Grip
    My son is into lifting and has added this kettlebell into his workout routine. He likes the smooth even finish that provides great grip even with sweaty hands. The construction is solid with a wide one-piece handle and no center handle weld. The weight is accurate and stamped on the front in both KG and LBS. This kettlebell by Athletic Works is a great addition to his weight set!

    Better than expected...
    I have a lot of gym equipment from a lot of different companies. Some of it, the top of the line brands made in the US (Ohio, namely). When I saw this kettle bell offered, I decided to try it out because of the low cost. My expectations were pretty low. However, when I opened it and checked it out, I was surprised. This kettle bell is just as good as many others I've had that cost a lot more. The fit and finish is good - nice and smooth hammer tone finish on it both looks good and feels good in hand. I used it for a cardio workout and doing lunges. It worked fine. The only issue I had was that it is marked as weighing 17.6lbs. When I weighed it, it was actually 18 even. In this case, I am fine with it being over and being an even 18lbs, so it's not a big deal for me. Overall, I am happy with it.

    Nice kettlebell
    This kettlebell is 4 kilograms (8.8 pounds). The texturing is enough to keep it from being too slick. The coating is a quality finish that didn't chip off when I test dropped it on concrete. The handle has a good feel to it as the circumference isn't too big or too small for my or my wife's hands. It's also wide enough for any hand without being too wide and in the way.
