6 gallon attwood fuel tank
Have not used this tank yet, but I have others I have used same make and model I like the idea of being able to see how much fuel is left.

Purchased this tank just because i just wanted a new one, my old metal johnson tank was looking rough but working just the same. Put new fitting in for hose connection, gas, oil, and fuel stabilizer for ethanol.. Cranked motor at home in barrel and thought everything was ok..Went fishing the next day, motor ran fine till about half way to my fishing spot and quit and would only crank and run for about 45 seconds. Bubble was flat and would not work. Paddeled for about a hour back to landing ,went home, checked motor was ok not getting any gas. Connected old tank using same hose/bubble and motor cranked up and run fine.. I'M OUT ABOUT 6 GAL GAS FROM WORTHLESS TANK AND ABOUT 30.00 WORTH OF GAS IN TRUCK FOR WASTED TRIP..EPA tank is a joke..when you open to let pressure off, whats the difference if its got a valve on top that i open when i use it or let off pressure off once the tank is 3 times the size its supose to be? STUPID EPA DOSEN'T HAVE A CLUE !! LEAVE IT ON THE SHELF !!

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/20/2020Great tank needs fitting to useNicely priced tank. Very well built. But should come with a NPT fitting. Anyone who buys the tank will need some way of connecting to a hose. Adding a fitting is a no-brainer.Striperk9

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/12/2016A good EPA compliant tank.Good tank, but no vent per environmental regs. Be careful not to break off the fuel line attachment, it is strong, but exposed to possible breakage by design. This tank could have been designed to safeguard the fuel attachment point and be stackable!PV544

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/01/2016Nice TankOne of my tanks was leaking after years of use, seen this on Walmart.com and ordered it. Was at the store next day for pick-up, I have used it a couple of times so far and seems to work great for me. I have a ski-runabout boat with a 90 HP Evinrude motor on it. Nice replacement tank.Superdave

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/25/2016It worksBought this a couple weeks, as many others have complained the non vented design is among the dunbest! You can't have that much fuel pressure hooked to a carburetor, and believe me that can swells up like a ballon in the summer here in FL! Here's the solution, take the cap off, get a small flat head screw driver and flip the cap upside down. Now pop the inner piece of the cap out with the screw driver.(yes,it come's out. The cap is 2 seperate pieces!) Now get a pair of needle nose pliers and remove the little white plug with the spring on it. Reassemble, and you now have a vented gas tank. There is no need to close the vent because it vents from under the cap as you've probably figured out. Problem solved! I have no complaints about mine now!Ron

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/29/2014Best Price I found on-line for this fuel tankI have put all the fittings on the tank but haven't used the boat motor with it attached yet. Seems to be as good or better than the leaking Moeller I replaced with this Attwood.Montwalleye
