Easy tasty meal in a box.
I couldn't find this Banquet Chicken meal anywhere, as i use to purchase it quite frequently at the local grocer, they stopped carrying it. I was looking for quick dinners in the Walmart.com search box and i couldn't believe mu eyes when i saw it!! So happy to know it's still on the shelf. This meal is so quick to prepare and it is tasty with mashed potatoes, chicken gravy with chicken chunks and biscuit topping. Yum.

    Needs more chicken
    Not bad tasting, but it's all potatoes gravy and biscuits, not enough chicken to even get a taste. A lot better if you add more chicken.

    Not good
    It was way too salty and too much pepper. Was not at all appealing. I threw it out because I just couldn't get it down

    This is a family favorite. I add some more chicken, onions, and corn to the gravy portion of the meal. Buy it while you can since it is rarely in stock. It is very good.

    Don't waste your money
    No. Just No. Seems so easy and delicious but then ... it's nasty. Slimy, thick, and no flavor.... I don't recommend this!

    A Quick, Simple Meal
    We love this as a simple, quick mix meal the kids can make. It's filling, and tasty. This is hard to find, so when it's available, I stock up, so we can have an easy meal on those nights I'm too exhausted to cook. There are actual chunks of chicken in the gravy mix, and the mashed potatoes are thick. The biscuits are also easy to make with just adding water. It's a good staple to have on hand. There used to be more of these Homestyle Bakes, and readily available, but not so much anymore, which is sad.
