It does the job of holding about 3 bags (40lb each) firewood, but then it becomes a little unstable...might be due to the simple construction and small, short screws used to hold the unit together.NMRick

The bronze finish adds to fireplace accent and it holds more than enough wood or logs. The tools are wonderful and hang nicely and with enough distance that there is no clanging or hitting into one another. A quick wipe keeps the holder and tools looking new. Only got 5 weeks of use out of it this season so we will see how it holds up with additional demands next winter. Now it sits a nice living room decoration and a great item that was well worth the price paid for it.Susan

Instructions were very wrong, and based on the instructions it looked like the wrong hardware was included, and I was going to have to buy some screws.
