Still made in USA
Walmart has the best price for this model, trust me, I looked everywhere. Still have a 1970's vintage Buck 110 folding hunter, wanted a fixed blade, old enough to remember when Buck was king. Have not had a chance to use yet, there well may be better, maybe even better and cheaper knives (think Big A)..but seems solid, expect it to last as long as the 110 has and to pass it on. The sheath seems well made as does the knife. The handle is not the prettiest but looks like it will suffice. Recommended for Buck/buy USA fans; true blade heads could probably educate me about the 'best' knife...but, I dropped my bucks (pun intended) here, on this, and I'm happy with it.

    Have a cheap $1 knife that was $2 on sale in Atlanta Walmart 42 years ago. its stainless steal with an inch and half blade with oak wood side inlays. Still snaps close and works as it did day one. Invaluable to me and does what a knife needs to do. Cut rope and open boxes. Those that pay over $20 for a knife ,its ridiculous. Mine was a "dollar" , 40 years ago and still carry daily .Its small and very useful. Thats right ,,, uh huh !!!

    The lasts hunting knife you will ever need
    I bought one of these Buck knives from Walmart several years ago, and it has been my favorite knife for a very long time. I like it so much, that I bought a second one recently. I enjoy the classic and simple look. It gives off a genuine rugged, yet sophisticated essence. During hunting season I always receive compliments on it that often lead to conversation about it's durability and style. I will be buying one for my brother as a Christmas gift this year. I have used this knife to clean fish, skin game and even as a steak knife at home. They blade holds an edge and has never chipped. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy the last hunting knife that they will ever need.

    What an Edge! What a beauty!
    As a kid, these knives were on open shelves at my local Walmart. My dad had one at home that I wasnt allowed to touch. I remember picking one up and rubbing my thumb on the blade, thinking I knew how to test for sharpness at 8 years old. Well, this knife cut me right there in Walmart and Ive never forgotten that cut not that knife. Theyre still razor sharp and great quality today. I love this knife and the smell of the real leather scabbard.

    This knife is too beautiful to use. Almost. Sharp edge, no scratches, and the grind was near perfect. Well fitting leather case and. On sale? Yes! Everyone should have a 119.
