Grips well, holds plates perfectly...a bit hard to squeeze and pull off but it does what it's supposed to!

    Does the job well!
    Springs are very firm holding the weight plates securely. The plastic sleeves do help when opening the springs to place on or remove from the bar. These were purchased in a Walmart store at almost twice the price as offered on walmart.com. Not happy with that, but the CAP spring clips are great.

    Good standard clips
    Work well, seem to be good quality. When I purchased them, I bought two, expecting to then receive two total clips since the descriptor specified "1 Piece." However, these come as a pair (as they should), so in ordering 2, I ended up with 4 total. Just so you know!

    Very tight, otherwise what you'd expect
    The collars are very tight and a bit of a challenge to get on and off the bar. Much more difficult than any collar I've used in a gym...but they will probably loosen over time. But it's better to be too tight than loose, so it's ok. For $5, it's a great product.

    Some clamps are weak; not these
    When it comes to working out - These work out. They grip the bar much tighter than others. Yes, they are more stiff to loosen, to fit on the bar, but that only means to me, they aren't going to easily slip with a great amount of weight on the bar. Of course, I don't put much on there, but if I did - I would want these to ensure nothin aint slippin.

    Good product, no problem during work out.
    I use this for my dumbbell and easy to install and remove. Most of all, I like the price. During workout, I feel like handle is little bit short but that is what I need so I am not complainng. I have another spring clips which has a long handle, these are not good for my dumbbell, so I use those for Ez curl bar.

    I purchased these for my son-in-law for Christmas to compliment the CAP 7' Olympic barbell and they work perfectly together. Easy on/off from the barbell and they are easy on the hands. I highly recommend these clips from Walmart. I used Site-to-Store and both the clips and barbell were ready for pickup in a couple of days.
