2016-17 handle seams are often rough- be careful
I have bought many CAP barbells over the years from Walmart. Over this past year I have had difficulty with the handle seams and finish being too rough. If you do not do snatches, that does probably not matter, but the training for the snatch test is 100 snatches in 5 minutes and requires a smooth handle or your palms will get abrasions. Best to do store delivery order and check out the handles on site so that you can return them immediately if the handles are too rough for you. Otherwise,, these are great kettlebells. I like the size of the handle, and the prices are good. If you are training to pass the snatch test and do not do a lot of snatches, these may well work for you.

    uneven quality control
    Purchased two of these at an outstanding price. One of them is a very good 50lb kettlebell that suits me well. The other says "50lb" on it, but is actually a little under 45 pounds. Not only is this disappointing in itself, but it means the bells can't be used as a matched pair, which makes them much less useful, at least for my purposes.

    Solid, fairly well made kettlebell. Does what it's supposed to. Now I'm Superman. Build quality is very good but not quite as excellent as higher end bells.

    Perfect!!
    I'm a 5'2,110lb female and purchased the 30lb and 40lb kettlebells. They arrived in one day (I was shocked) and in perfect condition. The price is great too! Hard to find in store. I've been looking for these two weights and found them for anywhere between $50-$70. I wasn't willing to pay that much so I waited awhile before finding these online. I've actually told a few friends already because I was so excited. I did weigh them on my scale to double check and they are the correct weights. I've worked out with them at least 5 times a week since purchase and they are perfect!

    Great value! Excellent quality!
    I have done a lot of research on kettle-bells and find these CAP bells have excellent quality at an awesome price. I do wait for them to go on sale at Walmart and when that happens they are <$1 a pound. The quality is almost as good as the Russian pro kettle-bells at a fraction of the price. Over the last 3 times they went on sale I bought 2-10, 2-15, 2-20, 2-25, 1 -30, 1-35, 1-40, 1-45. 290 Pounds for a little more than $200 + tax. Amazing! Will keep adding a little at a time when they go on sale. Amazing value and addition to my home gym!
