Tables
They are going to have to be standins for my floral studio until I can have some built. Both were easy to assemble and will do the trick but both arrived so badly banged up with huge debts and scratches.

    Does the job...
The product came with a few dents in the legs, so the packaging could use some work to avoid damage. But we were able to straighten out the dents so that it didn't affect the durability of the work bench. Pretty easy to assemble.

    A real bargain.
I shopped for quite some time looking for a reasonably priced work bench. To be honest I really didn't expect much for $150. [with free shipping !!] but after reading reviews from others I figured it was worth a shot. The bench arrived with some minimal damage which seems to be common, but nothing that couldn't be repaired with a little tweaking. As I'm not much of a handyman I found the assembly instructions to be a little confusing at first but after laying everything out and taking my time it went together just fine. Be sure to have a drill present as you'll need to drill 18 holes into the work surface in order to attach it to the frame. Since it's very heavy and assembled upside down it will probably take two people to stand it upright. I did it alone but that wasn't the smartest thing for an old retired guy to do. Once in place this thing is very impressive. It's as steady as a rock and looks great. You won't do better if you spend twice the money.

    Very Sturdy Workbench
This workbench is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. A drill is need to drill pilot holes for the wood screws that fasten the MDF top to the frame. The leveling legs are also very handy. This will work great in my garage.

Good work bench for a part time at home handyman.
The unit is easy to assemble. You need help lifting the work surface, it is heavy. This work bench is ideal for the weekend handy man. I like the size and it is sturdy. Good buy!

Exactly what I wanted but it did have some damage
Excellent price and a solid workbench. As in the other reviews it did get damaged in shipping. Walmart said they'd exchange it but I opted to take a 10% discount instead. A corner was smashed along with 6 inches of the edge. Also, the edge on medal frame was bent and scratched but I was able to get it mostly back to form and then I put a gladiator sticker over it so I can't see the damage.

Absolutely can't be beat for the price and quality
When I decided I needed a workbench / work surface for my home garage I quickly ran across this option as well as the almost identical Stack-On workbench. (To clear this up...Stack On manufactures both and they share the same frame. The only difference is the name badge and the Stack On version weighs slightly less because it has a 1" MDF top vs. a 1.25" MDF top on the Cadet version) I initially found these on other websites for $259 - $389. When I found them here for $149 with free shipping, it didn't take long for me to decide to jump on the deal. Also if you apply for a walmart.com credit card they usually have a "get $20 or $25 back" making them an even more ridiculous deal. I'm not quite sure how the shipping cost of such a large, heavy item could be absorbed at this price. (The delivery driver could barely get this from the truck to my front door by himself) With that said, If you get one of these workbenches completely free of damage consider yourself lucky. The box is so heavy it must be difficult to get on and off several trucks on its way to your door. It is also technically just outside the dimensional limits for the largest package that can ship ground, but that's how they ship it anyway. The good news is, aside from being dropped or heavily damaged, the workbench is packaged well and the damage to mine was minimal. The plastic name badge on mine had been broken off and a few of the powdercoated metal pieces had knicks, slight marring or "box rash". If yours is like mine and is going in the garage a few minor imperfections are bound to happen over time anyway and a lot of the "box rash" buffed out with an automotive wax. Overall, there is not a nicer workbench available for under $300 that rivals these in quality (Trust me I have looked) When I talked to Stack On about these before making my purchase I'm pretty sure she told me they were made in the USA! The powdercoating is good quality. All the holes lined up correctly. The supplied bolts are black so they aren't an eyesore. The lower support bar can be installed in two positions; towards the middle or all the way towards the back. The adjustable feet are perfect and heavy duty. The MDF top is heavy and the front has a steel piece that wraps around it to keep it from getting chipped or dinged. As far as the top goes I may have piece of stainless steel made to go over the top and wrap over the edges someday but if you are going to be working with liquids on the top you could just lay down some clear vinyl or contact paper to keep the top nice. In closing, if you need a simple but effective work surface that looks good and you are like me and always shop for the best deal on the internet, rest assured you have found it here and order one of these before the price goes up!
