A great all-in-one printer.
I have owned a MX922 before. It lasted for many years. When it failed I was glad to be able to purchase another one. I hope to get many years of service with this one as well. One of the best parts of the unit is, the ink tanks are that, they are tanks not cartridges. That makes the cost of ink much lower. I have been very happy with Canon products.

Parts Fell Out
I repeatedly tried to get someone locally to fix this printer to no avail. The cost quoted me was more than I could buy a working one on line. These are the parts that appear to have fallen out. I pride myself on being able to repair anything-this printer stumped me.

Reserve pickup appointment with Waste Management
This item is valid only for one year without frequent printing after that you need to call Waste Management or Republic service to pick it up.

    Printer for my business
This printer is perfect for my business. It has all the features I need -- fax, scanner, printer, copier, auto feed for scanning and printing. It is a little loud but I can deal with it. Can't beat it for the price. My previous printer, Canon MG5220, lasted from Christmas 2011 until I purchased this printer in February 2017. With that experience, I am a permanent customer of Canon and I will always be a permanent customer of Walmart. The printer was more at Amazon plus they were going to charge for shipping. Walmart brought this to me with no shipping charges. A happy camper!

    Canon Pixma MX922
This is a good printer but it does have some drawbacks. The replacement Ink Cartridges are very much overpriced and the printer drinks ink. The print quality is very good if you are using Canon ink cartridges (about $90 replacement cost). OEM ink cartridges are not very good and clog the printhead. Replacement print heads are as expensive as buying a new printer. If your printing is light this is not a bad printer but if you print alot you do not want this printer.

    Great printer
I am really impressed by this printer. My 14 year old son set it up by himself. It's the fastest printer we've ever had at our house. My cell phone has printed from it as well. It's wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Large & slow but great quality
I'm a student & use my printer mainly for printing out school assignments & coupons. This printer takes up a lot of desktop space but the quality is amazing. Pictures/graphics come out very clear/detailed. printing is a lot faster in economy mode or when only using black. I like that each color has a separate cartridge, so If I'm only out of yellow, I can just replace that one instead of getting a whole new color cartridge. This should help save money in the long run.

    Worth every penny
When I purchased my previous printer, a Canon model MX870, several years ago it lasted six or seven years, and was the first printer I ever bought that lasted more than a year. I paid what I consider an exorbitant price for it, something like $250. Since MX922 is the new model 'equivalent' to the MX870 (it is not 'equivalent;' it is better, faster, higher tech, and easier to use), I fully expect the same life span and quality in this printer even though it only cost me $100.

    Canon Pixma MX922
The printer does a nice job of printing, including duplexing. The one thing I don't like about it is the scanning function. It is confusing and the scanned documents wind up in a file that I can't easily locate on my computer. The MP Navigator program on my old Canon Canon MP510 was superior to this.

    Good / Bad
Seems like a fairly nice printer, but of course I just received it. Yes, it is BIG- and heavy. Much bigger that I wanted, but other reviewers warned me about that. Startup instructions are very sketchy and NOT self-explanatory. As with most technology, you have to know how to do everything already in order to figure out how to do anything. Not easy for me to set up, but seems to be working well so far. I have yet to figure out how to print wirelessly from my tablets, but I guess that will come. NOTE: The setup adds a huge confusing menu to the PC desktop. Like the printer, this menu is way too big. A lot of it seems to be connections to online sites for ordering supplies, etc. Another large item appears on the desktop- the "image garden" all about printing photos, etc. Again, wasted space and clutter on my screen. Had to search for settings to remove them from my desktop. The print quality is great, and I like how the scanner works smoothly. But again some caveats: It takes a long time to warm up, and makes lots of scary noises in the process. It does not shut off automatically when idle- it 'goes to sleep' apparently, but two bright lights remain on unless you manually shut down the printer completely. And then, whether it wakes up or is turned on again, it goes thru the long warm-up process again. Of course I have no idea yet how long the ink cartridges last or the printer's overall longevity.
