    Black v Grey Shorts
    I purchased both the black and grey shorts. I like both but the grey shorts have a wider and better waist elastic so I prefer the construction of the grey. Color wise I prefer the black.

    What happened? Quality went out the window!
    I reordered these from about a year ago and was disappointed to find that the quality has deteriorated. The material feels thinner and the elastic waist is not as "stretchy" as before. I would rather they raise the price than cheapen the product. After just one wash the seam is starting to separate. Disappointing to say the least.

    Waisteband Missing Material
    I ordered a few pairs and each pair is missing fabric on the inside of the waist band. I say "missing" because I cannot comprehend removing fabric from this area. I now have to decide if I want to go through the hassle of returning them or just wearing them inside out.

    Shorts very uncomfortable
    I have four new pair of shorts. After first washing, cold water, the label in the back wrinkles so much they are very uncomfortable to wear. I tried to remove the labels, but they are sewn into the label and can' be removed. I didn't know that cloth labels were used any more on clothing. I prefer stamped labels.

    Okay, but fit a little oddly
    The shorts fit a little weird. First they are massive. I bought medium and they are closer to large in terms of waist size. The weird part, is for as large as the waist is, they cling to my thighs. They are fine, I'm not going to return them or anything, but I'm not going to run out and buy another pair. I also don't think it's a chance thing...I bought 3 pairs each in a different color and all 3 fit the same. I think it's just how they are cut.

    I buy these cotton shorts whenever I need them.
    I buy these cotton shorts whenever I need them. I'm not a fan of the 'tech' materials for gym shorts. These are durable and well built, as I have expected from Champion over the years. If somebody there could do a better design on the waist cord, I would happily give the 5th star. There just isn't a good design around for the cord that wont get fouled up when untying about 1 in 4 times. But, yes, I'll buy again.
