Great Product for Hardwood floors
I purchased a Floortex Cleartex Polycarbonate Ultimat in 2014 after reading reviews for a mat to use on my hardwood floor. I did not want a mat that would actually stick to the floor and by placing it under the edge of the desk, there was no danger of the mat slipping an causing a fall. I have been completely satisfied so when I setup another room with desks, I searched for this product. Hayneedle offered the sizes that I needed at a good price. I recently received two new mats. I received them earlier than the promised delivery date. The larger mat came rolled and immediately went flat once I placed it on the floor and moved the edge under the desk. I am delighted with this product and with the service from Hayneedle.

Had to return the mat. It is so thin that the wheels of my desk chair "bogged" down and could not roll. I should have been suspicious when it arrived rolled up in a small box.

    Do not buy. It is a cheap rolled up mat
    Do not buy. Was advertised as Floortex Ultimat Polycarbonate mat. Description said it shipped flat. I received a cheap rolled up vinly mat. I returned it. it was about $55 dollars. A true polycarbonate mat cant be rolled up. It has to ship flat.

    Lifetime warranty?
    Purchased in June 2019. Cracked and broke in July of 2021. Paid $44.86 delivered. They want $30.00 shipping and handling to replace it under warranty. So much for their Lifetime Warranty.

    Perfect for My Carpet and Small Space
    This fit perfectly when tucked all the way under my desk in my spare room that I use as a guest room and office. It's made of hard and stiff plastic, not bendable plastic. The spikes on the underside are quite sharp and sturdy so this is definitely not good for hardwood or tile. Now my chair slides around with ease instead of getting stuck on the carpet, very pleased.

    Perfect Mat for Rolling Chair
    The Floortex Cleartex Ultimate With Lip is perfection. The quality is fantastic with plastic points that grip the carpet beneath and the top is smooth allowing for movement in all directions. This is a large mat with a lip that fits beneath the desk. This is a great choice for anyone looking for a chair mat.

    A Plus For Any Office
    I received the Floortex Cleartex Ultimat Chair Mat from the Spark Reviewer program to try out in exchange for my thoughts and opinion. It came shipped in a large flat box with cordboard on each side to protect from any sort of bending during shipment. I am rather please with this mat. It is a perfect size for your office chairs at the size of 47 X 35. This size allows for a extra lip that goes under your desk and that your chair would sit. It's a perfect fit. The bottom comes attached with little spiky nubs that go into the carpet to help with any type of sliding of the mat. I have had no problem with any slippage at all. It hasn't pulled my carpet or left any snags where it has been placed. It seems to be a heavy duty plastic. I have had it almost a month and so far no cracking. It has helped the mobility of my chair in my office. I would highly recommend this mat if you are looking for something under you chair. If I had to replace a current mat, this is one I would definately go to.

    HARDWOOD VS CARPET
    Floortex Cleartex Ultimat 35 x 47 Chair Mat for Low and Medium Pile Carpet, Rectangular with Lip was selected from the Wal Mart Spark Reviewer Program for my honest opinion about this product. First and foremost, this item arrived in a timely manner which was greatly appreciated. Looking at the picture that was shown with this item, I honestly thought I was getting a chair but I got the mat for the chair. This item was placed in two different locations within my home with the desk that was previously selected through this program. The first was location was upstairs on carpet which is where I highly recommend this to be placed. We do have low and medium carpet so it worked out great. Unfortunately, this is not where my computer desk is located so there is really no use for the item upstairs on carpet. However, this does protect the carpet from your chair. Depending on the carpet type and how much a person weighs, eventually one could have to replace the carpet but with a good carpet mat such as this one, one should not have that problem. The last place we put this item was our hardwood floor which is where the computer desk is located. So not recommended, my husband was walking towards the window that is right next to the desk and when his foot hit the mat, the whole thing slid. Had that been one of our kids, they more than likely would have been hurt.

    Great lokking and durable chairmat!
    I just received my Floortex Cleartex Ultimat 35 x 47 chair mat for low and medium pile carpet, rectangular with Lip. It is made of very nice polycarbonate material. This should last for quite a long time. It has twice the impact strength of PVC to provide a highly rigid, ergonomic, easy-glide surface. The clarity of it allows you to see your flooring underneath, so it does not cover up anything. It is a rectangular shaped chairmat with a lip to go under a desk, etc. This will protect your carpet and keep it from being worn or destroyed with constant rolling of office chairs or whatever chair you have there. It will prolong the carpet and keep it new looking while giving your chair an easy glide surface to move around easily on. It has a gripper type back is ideal for use on low to medium-pile carpets up to 1/2 thick. Polycarbonate will instantly go flat so no need to wait to flatten before use. The lip measures 10 x 20. It looks nice and makes your room look nice. This could also be used in a shop or even a high traffic area. It is very durable and easy to lay. I really recommend this to anyone with carpet and anything that moves constantly on it. I have mine in my office. Love it!

    Stiffer than it looks
    This is replacing another floor mat that was too thin and flexible. With the old mat my chair left depressions that were hard to roll out of. This mat is made from a different material that is much more rigid and does not leave depressions. I am much happier with this one. With store pickup there was no shipping so overall it was a winner.
