Best canopy
I bought this canopy 8 years ago and I used it for car show relay easy to set up and put away, is so nice that I just bought a second one. I will want to know if the canvas is available separately. I am writing this review because I see people complaining about this canopy an seem to be that they been using it permanently bases is not to be used like that.

    Workmanship is Questionable
    Canopy is a good size at 13x13. The workmanship is questionable if not just plain poor. The stitching began to give way on one side after about 4 days. Evidently the ensuing stress on the fabric/stitching became too much as the opposite side began to tear at the seams as well. Side number 3 is now beginning to tear at the seams as well. Total time used was about 7 times. The positive aspect of this review is that the actual double stitched seam is still holding on at the joints. As for the metal frame, unlike other reviews, this one I'd still holding strong. Good canopy if used indoors.

    Broken Brackets after 5 uses
    We bought this item because of the Coleman name and quality of their previous products we have purchased for our Cub Pack and Boy Scout Troop. However, I cannot recommend this canopy. We have used this canopy 5 times and the plastic brackets have broken. I have not been able to find replacement parts, even at the suggested parts place Coleman recommends. I understand that plastic parts may eventually break overtime, but it is very frustrating to have spent this type of money on a product that breaks so easily. I am furious that Coleman does not have replacement parts. Our troop will be deciding if we continue purchasing our gear from Coleman or if we look elsewhere based on our ability to find replacement parts.

    Great Frame, but Canopy wears - Sell replacements!
    We've had three of these eaved canopies use across two properties and are very happy with them as the venting is great and shade coverage is best in the business for the weight. However we use them for extended periods and the canopy canvas naturally wears out since it's lightweight tent material. Would be 5-star if you sold replacement canopy so we didn't have the buy the full product or throw away old frames. Simple solution, please consider offering!!!

    Nice design; poor execution
    I like the overall design and set up of the canopy. However, those little ‘silver buttons' that the latches click into do not hold. I have to have someone hold the latch to the top of the leg and put electrical tape under the latch to keep it at the top. I filled out the form on Coleman.com - if I get any resolution I will update this post. But as it sits now, extremely disappointed. Spent a lot of money on something that doesn't work.

    Beautiful and elegant, easy to assembly. We bought it for the 4th of July. In August, a strong but not extraordinary storm fell. It broke into several parts !! The rods breaking and bending broke the tent. A month and a half later it's completely garbage.

    Excellent design and quality construction
    My wife and I spend our weekends at travel softball tournaments and a shelter is a must. We were using the Ozark Trail 10x10 pop-up shelter, and it worked well, but it was a bit unreliable--I had to fix it a number of times over the course of the summer--so we started looking for another shelter. We had admired the Coleman instant shelter our friends brought to tournaments, so we decided to pull the trigger on one of our own. It is a bit more pricy than other shelters but it is already worth every penny. Everything feels high quality from the word go: the legs are strong, the locking mechanisms are easy to use, and the setup process is a breeze. Most other pop up shelters are difficult to set up alone, but this one is a lot easier due to the ingenious levered lock setup: once you've opened the shelter a bit, you can use the corner eave support like a lever to secure each corner, this pushes the corner out to full extension and locks the top into place. In addition to the easy set up, I also found that this shelter holds up better in the wind thanks to, I think, the eaves. When we went to the beach with friends, our shelter stayed put in the wind, while we had to hold down other shelters. Overall, I can't speak highly enough about this shelter. It is a great product!

    Broke after second day
    We bought this tent and after the second day on the beach the locking mechanisms would not work. An interior pole also snapped when trying to take it back down. We managed to get the locking mechanisms flushed out with hose water and they began to work again but there was very minimal sand that came out. Needless to say it's useless now bc we can't even find the correct replacement pole on the website to use and we definitely won't get before our beach trip is over if ordered now.
