Great Buy
The bed is well built but I wished they had used 2X2 for the slats on the top bunk instead of 3/4X2 strips of plywood. My kids now want to sleep in the bunk bed instead of with me and their mother; that makes this bed worth every penny.

Broken part and give me someones return package!
bad and upset! When I saw the package, I knew it was returned by someone else, and I was not so disappointed that I dared to deliver the rest of the package with a little professional ethics. But one or two small pieces of wood are broken

    Good for the price
This is a budget friendly bunkbed. The quality is what you pay for. Based on the reviews before buying this brand again, I asked my husband if he recalls any splitting or cracking with a similar previous bunkbed we bought a year ago from the same manufacturer. He said he didn't remember any besides the delivery damage dents. So, I went ahead and bought this bunkbed since we're on a budget. Pros: budget friendly, grey color as depicted, product shipped on time, assembly is straightforward with all different parts labeled, storage space beneath the beds (storage containers below 13.5 inches high). Cons: quality, product handling. My husband doesn't recall the base boards being so flimsy with our first bunkbed...we moved crosscountry and passed it onto a relative. Then again, we used a twin/full metal base for the bottom. The bottom full bed on this one has three stands to support the middle of the base boards. It's quite flimsy. I can easily knock it out of alignment when moving the bed. So, move the bed with two people and not with the twin bed attached on top. The base boards bend easily. So, we added a sheet of 1/2 inch thick plywood on each bed. The twin base boards are supposed to be screwed in on the side but it's not comfortable. So, we laid them flat and put the sheet of plywood on top. We received this package with 2 minor dents. It's a really heavy package. Package handling may be better if the product was sent in two separate packages. We used an 8 inch full spring mattress and a 6 inch twin spring mattress.

    Cute Bunkbeds!
My nine year old has wanted bunk beds for a few years and we finally agreed to it. Not wanting to spend too much money on them because we were unsure if he would like them or not, we honestly chose these because of the price and were pleasantly surprised by how well made they were. It took two people two hours to put them together and you have to read the instructions and not skip any steps and jump ahead or you will have to "redo" it. My son loves them and now all we need is to get cute matching denim comforters!

    Great bed
This bed is perfect for small rooms like my sons room..we also have extremely low ceilings and it fits wonderfully. I added the railings to the lower bed for my youngest son but those were not sold with the bed.

    Great-looking bunk bed
This bunk bed looks great and also sturdy. My kids love it! Installation is straightforward. It took us 2 hours to install. We think it's normal. We recommend hand tightening instead of using power tool.

    Ladder is fixed
Love the bed! My girls room(shared by a 4 and 10 year old) has a lot more space now with this bed. I purchased because one reviewer, Mike, stated that he called the company and was able to get a kit to put the ladder on the other end. This was not the case for me. I called the company twice, lastly speaking to a supervisor who stated there is no such kit and if I did anything to the bed to switch the ladder to the other end it would void the warrantee. The ladder is directly under their ceiling fan so I'm a bit nervous but so far so good! Also don't put this together while tired..had to take it apart and redo a lot because of not paying attention

Excellent for the price, but not perfect.
Construction is solid and the look is clean while being very functional. The problem is the low profile of the boards holding up bed. They are sturdy, but doesn't leave room for even a low profile box spring. You'll need to cut 2 sheets of plywood, one for each bed, for sturdiness, look, and avoiding undue wear on mattress. Also, the packaging and shipping of the bed was pretty cruddy. There was significant damage to multiple parts of the bed. I was just lucky that the damage was done to the finished wood facing the wall. Again, you can't bed this bed for the dollar. I would certainly buy again, but I don't mind going to Home Depot to add some finishing touches.

    Great quality for price!
I originally had a different name brand bunk bed picked out that was WAY more expensive! But, considering it is a bunkbed and I don't know how long my kids will want to sleep in a bunkbed I decided to go the less expensively be route. I'm so glad I did. These bunk beds had great reviews and they are true! The bunk bed is super sturdy, easy to put together, and they look very nice and high end. Great quality for the price! I put them together all by myself and then my husband had to help me stack them on top of one another. If you're thinking about one of the more expensive bunk beds that you find in a children's catalog, think again and try these instead.

    Beautiful and sturdy
This bed was easy to put together myself, I just needed a second person to help me get the top bunk on top of the bottom. It doesn't creak at all, good solid sturdy wood. The only thing to mention was my friends who works for a mattress store brought over the mattresses and said the slats were too far apart, even with a coil spring mattress, and eventually the mattresses would start dipping in between the slats and get lumpy/wavy. We tried putting bunkie boards under the mattresses but then the top mattress was too high for the rail to be effective. A piece of plywood would be suggested under the mattresses as the slats should be no more than 3" apart and these were closer to 8" gaps.
