Easy to be good
I have no experience in engraving; however, the tool kit makes me feel like I know what I am doing. I did my glass drawing and use the diamon bit for it and use the rubber bit to make some areas look darker. My product looks good for being the first. I also use the sanding bit to get rid of chips of the frame. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Replacement purchase.
    I ordered this to replace the Dremel I've had for over 10 years. I bought the same model because it worked well for me, and was a good value. And, in fact the price is practically the same as it was when I bought my first Dremel from Walmart many years ago. But this one came with bonus attachments. I'm an artist, and I use this for sanding sculptures, home repair, and revamping things like furniture.

    Best Dremel hands down
    You can spend more money on one of the higher tier dremels, but when you get down to it, this is the same thing essentially. You don't get the speed control, but you really don't need that. And for the price difference, I decided the luxury wasn't worth it. This will cut through quite a bit of stuff. The motor is very strong. It's great for a beginner or someone who just needs a reliable, cheap, rotary tool. This really does get the job done. The simplicity of only a on and off switch makes it many times more reliable than any other dremel. There is simply less to go wrong. I would highly suggest this to anyone who is looking to buy a tool of this nature.
