easy to use with immediate benefits
This worked really very well. Beyond expectations. Preparation of the surface is key to success- clean it with something such as isopropyl alcohol (not included in the box), warm it up with a hairdryer or hot air gun then apply the tape. Works well. Cut the panels with about 1- 1 1/2" excess all around and stick on- its easier than you think. Be patient with the shrinking when using a hair dryer. Too much heat will perforate the panel. Clean your windows before putting this on- a dirty window behind the sheet will just irritate. Takes about 20 mins per (large) window including cleaning. If you have larger than standard windows (I do) then the panel width is too small so you need to cut it lengthwise- which is wasteful as you end up with thin unusable strips but it doesnt seem to come in the size I needed (70" tall). But at the price, that's not an issue. Noticable difference immediately. Been about a month and it is still working well and the tape is on solid

Don't waste your $$
Don't waste your $$ and time. You can buy thicker window film at the dollar store. I doubled it and it's still so thin. You're better off buying a clear shower curtain with some duct tape. You're welcome.

Great rolled feature- purchase this one!
This review is for the Duck brand rollled clear plastic window insulation kit. This kit was so much easier to use than other kits I have purchased in the past of similar products. The rolled features makes instillation much easier! I would recommend this product and I would purchase it again. To speak to the functionality of this product I would say the room I used this on is warmer and less drafty now that I have used these on both windows.

    Best window insulation
Best window insulation I've used. Love the way you just fold it down and it's perfect size. The quality of the plastic is thick and once blow dried you barely see it. Much better than other brands I've tried before.

    Effective and easy to install
I used to use these when I lived in Nebraska where are you could feel the cold air coming in around the windows of the old house we lived in. They were easy to put up very effective. Once they were up we could no longer feel the cold air seeping in around the windows. I bought these recently to help insulate my mothers double wide in hopes that it would help cut down propane usage. She lives in Ohio. She usually refills her propane in the fall and about March or April she has to refill again. This year she is only at 50% (at the beginning of March when I'm writing this) so I do think they helped to keep her house warmer so she didn't use as much propane.

Easy, neat, out of site installation.Seems durable
This far exceeded expectation. The sheet is clear, almost inbisible, seems durablr, and installation was easy and neat. I had to buy additional 24ft double sided tape (samebrand, from walmart). The plastic sheet itself covered 11 standard sized windows.

I keep buying this same kit and recommend it.
I have used this same kit for several years now. There is plenty of plastic to cover our 11 windows and the double front sliding doors. Our windows are not quite as large as the dimensions they use on their package. It has two rolls of double sided tape as well and is easy to install.

Easy to install. Does a great job keeping the interior at a pleasant temperature, keeping out the hot sun on hot days and the cold wind on colder days

Tore unfolding and ripped while putting it up
I have used this brand off and on for years. This year the roll was a mess. It wasn't cut straight, tore as it was unfolded to stick on the window, ripped while putting up, and some places on the plastic weren't smooth but bumpy instead. I got it on the window I needed, but if this was my first experience, it would have been my last with this brand.

    Super Easy Install
This was so much easier to do than I first anticipated. I would however recommend 2 sets of hands to make the process quicker. First you take the double sided tape and line the window frame, next measure your plastic, cut , peel off double sided tape plastic, stick plastic to tape and then get your blow dryer and do your shrink wrap. I was amazed at how it looked like glass when finished. I am almost certain this is going to keep those dreaded winter drafts to a minimum.
