Very nice chair mat for hardwood floors
I recently had hardwood flooring installed in my home office. This mat works great, really protecting the floor and providing a robust surface for my chair to roll on. Better yet, it looks terrific; the beautiful maple hardwood isn't hidden from view. The only reason I graded it a "4" for value is that I thought it just a bit pricey for a piece of plastic. But given how it works and looks, perhaps that is a bit harsh. I would recommend this mat to anybody looking to protect a nice floor for a reasonable amount of money.

Poor package handling
The material used for this chair mat looks to be perfect for the application. Sadly, the packaging may well have ruined an otherwise great product. The mats we purchased were both folded completely in half when received. Both mats were slipping out of their cardboard sleeves and are visually scuffed at the creases where they were obviously dragged across the warehouse floor. Thus, there's a noticeable scuffed highlighted creased hump down the middle of each mat. If time and elastic memory doesn't allow the creases to relax returning the mats to a flat condition...I'll be returning the mats for a flat refund! I think the poor package handling of these items is the cause for my dissatisfaction.

    Nice mat
    Ordered this big enough to go to the wall and a few inches on either side of the computer desk and still have plenty of room to roll back and side to side. I like that you can still see the floor through it. It came in a flat box and no damage or folded corners.

    Perfect !
    I needed this in my kitchen. I have chairs on wheels and linolium flooring. The chair I sit in the most was beginning to crack the flooring. I bought this because of the size. It its under the table legs to keep it from moving. The chair just rolls so smoothly on it. It is nice and thin, yet a good quality plastic!!! Wish I had known about this before.

    Chair mat for wooden floors
    It is very sturdy. It allows the beauty of my floor to show through. One thing though, I almost threw it away. The packaging looked like an empty collapsed cardboard box., and it arrived 3 days earlier than expected. I thought it was just a piece of cardboard ready for the trash.

    Finally, no more scratches!
    My previous mat, was okay when I had carpet, but it was pulled up and I had flooring laid, it wasn't. I kept going off it and I was scratching the floor with my chair. Not anymore, thanks to this chair mat. It's big, with room to spare! It's a great find!

    Works great under parrot cages!

    Non slip perfect for linoleum floor
    Before I purchased this mat, my linoleum floor was bubbly and peeling from sliding my chair on rolling caster wheels. I patched up the area by replacing the linoleum from extra flooring that I had under a rug in a spare room, then laid down the floor mat to protect the floor from pealing again. Couldn't have made a better choice. Saved me from having to put in a new floor and worrying about ruining the linoleum again. It looks good, lays flat, is see through, the chair rolls well on it, and it serves the purpose. Also was delivered much earlier than expected with little damage. One end was a little curled up from standing in storage or shipping, but I was able to curl it back with pliers, and that is the end that I put up against the wall, so it's not noticeable.

    Great to save hard wood floors
    I love that this mat came packaged flat. No need to unroll and try to make it flat. Just the right size for under the desk.
