Great Emergency Kit
This is a nice safety kit for in a vehicle. It comes in a zippered bag with a handle. The case is a nice size for tucking in a crevice or under a seat in a car. The zipper is good quality and opens easily. The outer cardboard packaging can be saved and used as an S.O.S. sign to be placed in a vehicle's window. The contents include a pair of gloves, an emergency rain poncho, a small flashlight with a set of batteries, a few first aid items like alcohol prep pads and adhesive bandages, plus a set of jumper cables. It also includes a code that you can scan to download how-to tips, instructional videos, and care maintenance tips. I can imagine these items being helpful if I needed to change a tire in the dark, in the rain, and then cut my finger doing it. The jumper cables probably would not work for my husband's diesel pickup truck, but would be adequate for my car. Jumper cables are always good to have on hand, just in case. I put some batteries in the flashlight to test it out. It is quite bright and has an option that lights up the end of the flashlight.This could be useful if you don't have an extra hand to hold the light for you, or maybe to signal for help. This kit also comes with a complimentary roadside assistance program for 1 year. This would make a great gift for a new driver or a 16th birthday. The items could be of a better quality. The gloves could be thicker, the flashlight made of something better than plastic, etc., but this is an emergency kit and hopefully not something that will be used regularly. I think it's great for the intended purpose.

Nice kit.
The Everstart Commuter Kit is a good thing to have in the car if you drive a lot. It comes with a good variety of helpful items. The jump cables look well made and I like that it came with gloves. The lantern/ flashlight is a handy thing to have. I do wish there was more to the first aid kit and that the sos sign was a individual sign, not printed on the packaging. All in all it's a solid emergency car kit.

    Handy kit
    The bag is small and doesn't take up much space, but contains many basic helpful tools everyone should keep in the trunk of their car at all times. The jumper cables especially, flashlight, bandages, gloves and more. Luckily, I haven't had the need to use it yet :), but I'm glad I've got this kit.

    Good Kit for the Wife or Teenagers
    Got for the wife as she doesn't have Jumper Cables and unlike mine just thrown on the back seat floor of my Dodge Pickup. The only thin it should have had was LED triangles or strobes or a flare. The flashlight is Led and can be used as a Lantern and is Bright for 3 AAA Batteries. If your hands are small then they are useless! Small and very compact and the bag is a heavy duty denim type material with a small pocket in front and zips shut

    Great for emergencies
    I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I was very excited to get this product. I like to be prepared for every case scenario since you never know what will happen and we have several little kids. This kit includes booster cable, flashlight (batteries are even in the kit for it), first aid kit, gloves, poncho, SOS banner which is printed on the cover for the kit), storage bag, and info card. We did not own booster cable so that alone makes this kit very valuable to us. We can leave it in the car in the winter just in case. I would recommend anyone getting a small safety kit for their car. I would buy this again and will probably buy a second one of our other car.

    Safety Peace of Mind
    This compact kit would be helpful in stranded car situation. It includes battery jumper cables as well as small first aid supplies, weather helpful items in the form of gloves and a poncho and a flashlight with batteries. The convenient size is easy to keep in your car. It comes wrapped in an SOS sign which the directions say to fold and place in your kit. The sign is fairly large to be easily seen so I didn't want to fold it small enough to fit. I just used the premade folds and stuck in the outside pocket of the container. Luckily, I have not had to use anything in the kit to assure it all works, but it is nice to have it all available.

    Decent for a beginner kit.
    After all these years of driving, I have learned everyone should have jumper cables in the trunk of their car. This beginners kit does have them. It's a decent little emergency starter kit for anyone who does not have one. Never say never because emergencies do happen. I do say it is decent - not great - but decent. It has a small flashlight with batteries (always keep extra batteries in to be safe - I am adding more to this kit bag). There is a cheap poncho (one you could buy extra at a dollar store to replace the one in the kit after you use it), fabric gloves, band-aids, and gauze. I am adding more Band-Aids and gauze to this kit and other stuff from my stash.

    All in one emergency set!
    This kit has most everything you would need when traveling. The grey carry case includes the jumper cables (8 feet/10 gauge), 2 in 1 led flashlight/lantern (comes with 3 AAA batteries), pair of knit gloves, emergency poncho, first aid kit complete with 15 bandages, 2 tape strips, 2 wound pads, and 5 alcohol prep pads. The case itself is wrapped with a cardboard SOS banner. Be careful when removing this from the case to ensure that it does not tear. Inside the case is a QR Code (how to information card). I found the fabric case to be well made, and like that it has a convenient outside pouch. Cables seem to be good quality. The first aid kit has a small supply of materials although it is sufficient for a minor emergency. Gloves may not fit a man but did appear well made. The poncho is made of cheaper plastic and nothing heavy duty. All in all, I really do like this set!

    This car kit is very handy to have in the car. It has lots of great items that would come in handy in an emergency. It has jumper cables, a flashlight, batteries, and even a rain poncho and a pair of soft gloves. The wrap that comes around the kit is actually an SOS sign for the car window. Very nice little zip carrier with a handle. Great for the car.

    Great emergency kit to have
    I am really happy with my new EverStart Commuter Safety Kit. It has the basics that should be in every car for those just in case moments. I had been needing a kit for a while and this one hit the main things I really needed. I posted pictures of what is included to help. The jumper cables aren't super long, but will work in a pinch. I also don't think they are heavy duty, so if your vehicle needs something more you may need to get something different. For me, They will work just fine on my van or in my car. I was happy they came with gloves for those cold times when you may have to deal with changing a tire or working outside of your vehicle. They were large on me but would work if I needed them to. They should fit adult sized hands just fine men or women's. The flash light worked fine and came with 3 AAA batteries. The poncho looks to be good, it is thin but would work in an emergency and it also comes with band aids, but I have a separate medical kit in my car so this really wasn't something I am worried too much about. Overall, I am happy I got this and can have a bit more piece of mind when traveling in or out of town.
