So far so good
Since I've only had this cook wear set for a short time, I can't rate it's durability but my previous set of Farberware lasted over 13 years with a lot of use. I chose this set as a replacement because of that and the fact that it was a great buy at the Walmart price.
This cookware has a lifetime guarantee. It is dishwasher safe and light weight but seem to be sturdy and well made. I've been pleased with it's performance so far. Nothing I've cooked has stuck to any of the pans and cleanup is a breeze. I'm not sure why you would put them in the dishwasher as easy as they are to clean.
They are attractive and easy to handle. The outside is non-stick as well as the inside and the glass lids fit the pans well. I'm hoping they will last at least as long as the last set if not longer.

I have been used plastic spoons that came with it.Comfort

However on this set, the quart pans are too small for potatoes or any sizable vegetable. Needed a 2 quart kettle in stead of a one quart. Overall, I would say it was well worth the price.Hilltopper

I wish I had bought a true non stick set as within the 1st use (with plastic utensils) the lining was scratched. I'm thinking this set may last me about a year. I've been using them for a month now and already have 3 scratched pans. :(cbop

But the way it was packaged was like it wasn't finished being wrapped! I got to my front door and was kinda upset that you could see what was in the box. Thank goodness no one needed a new cookware set and decided to take it off my porch.GABulldog

I was attracted to it because I have used Farberware for nearly 40 years and still use that same set (but it's time to replace it). My original set was a thick quality metal (which explains how I could have had it for 40 yrs). THIS SET, is a very appealing price with a beautiful copper color exterior and champagne interior and a perfect collection of pot sizes but is simply too thin for my liking. Perhaps it will last a good period of time, but I did not wish to take such a risk. It arrived with dents and a chip in 2 of the pots which supported my fear and suspicions. FARBERBARE is (was?) an excellent brand of cookery but I understand it is now owned by a different company. I don't know if that has affected the quality of the product. I understand it comes in a stronger metal, for a higher price. I would prefer to pay a higher price for a better quality. Quite disappointed with this set. I will add, Walmart was good to deal with in solving my issues with this product. I am an on-line consumer, unable to get to a store so I rely on the internet. Until it arrives, it is difficult to know what I'm buying. Those are my thoughts ... good luck to you.NewShopperX22
