Dual sensors, great price
Having both smoke and ionization sensors saves money and gives complete fire protection. Also I think AA batteries are a better power choice for most home uses.

Not a 2-Pack as stated. Only 1 smoke alarm in pack
This smoke alarm is stated to be a "2-Pack". However, there is only one smoke alarm in package.

    Good rating online; reasonable price.
Replacing EVERY smoke alarm, CO detector, fire extinguishder in the house. First responder friend recommended First Alert brand in general (NOT this specific model though).

    First Alert SA320CN-2 Smoke Alarm
First Alert SA320CN-2 Smoke Alarm: has BOTH sensor types, photoelectric and ionization! Each type is excellent at detecting one type of fire (smoldering versus flaming) and poor at the other, so this detector is excellent at both. Highly rated on Consumer Reports. Good place to look to avoid smoke detectors which have too many annoying false alarms. Inexpen$ive which is great! Walmart had the best value I could find on these. And easy to order from Walmart on line with free pickup at your local store.

    Basic alarm
Basic smoke alarm, highly rated by well known consumer's rating magazine, has both photo and ion detection, and has 10 yr. limited warranty.

    EZ install/ low $
When our old smoke detector would go off when we started up our mower or motorcycles, I knew we needed something different for our garage.. This item is perfect. It has a "particulate matter" sensor along with a "fire" sensor all in one little inexpensive, easy to install, small little round alarm!! What's not to love about that?

great value for a dual sensor smoke & fire alarm
Just what I wanted: a dual sensor alarm, a good price, test button, easy to install and mount, should be easy to replace the AA batteries when the need arises without removing the alarm from the mounting bracket. A minor complaint is that the green light that flashes once a minute to indicate that the alarm is working is small and faint, probably to conserve the battery.

    Good alarm
I actually purchased one of these about a year ago on Amazon, liked it, and decided to purchase more from Walmart to replace the rest of my smoke detectors. The one I'd had about a year has been in the hall outside of my kitchen and I actually had very few false alarms - less than with my cheaper, ionization-only prior alarm. I am pleased. Walmart should change the description because as most (not all) reviewers note, you are only getting one. I might have been more upset by that if I had been expecting two. Between the reviews and the fact that one on Amazon was the same price, I was not expecting two.

    I'm glad to find it.
I'm glad to find a smoke alarm that has both types of sensing features and was impressed that I could get 2 for cheaper at WM than for one at my local L store! But then I started reading all the reviews and found that everyone was commenting that there was really only one in the package. I went ahead and ordered 3 because they were cheaper even if it was in fact only one in the package. When I opened up the box at the ship to store center I was delighted to find that there were indeed two per package! That gave me 6. I thought I would return the extras but instead decided to install ALL of them! I really am pleased with this find! <><
