Perfect for what I'm looking for. Recommended.
I was looking for a compact size manual treadmill that has Heart Rate sensors with the price that fits within my budget. After doing some research, the Fitness Reality TRE2000 seems to be the one. It has computer with big LCD screen for calories, distance, time and heart rate monitoring. I just wanted to walk and not run. So this one fits me perfectly. Opened the box and everything was fine. I put it together all by myself, spending less than half an hour. It came almost ready. First walk on the belt was very smooth. I put the treadmill in my home office. I take breaks from work several times a day and walk on it 15-20 minutes each time using incline. Within a few days, I'm feeling it already. If anything that can be improved, I think there is some noise when walking as the belt moves. That's all which doesn't bother me. It just a perfect fit for me. I have to give it a 5-star at this value price.

it arrived improperly put together
It arrived put together improperly; a wheel was not put in place before the belt was permanently put on. There was no way to use it. I returned it to the store.

    Arrived damaged
The tread mill arrived damaged and the axle that holds the belt on fell off within 5 minutes of trying it out.I am a mechanic , so I was able to get it back on. After that I didn't trust it so I returned it.

    Excellent machine for the price!
One of the reasons I purchased this treadmill was based on customer reviews, i.e., quality for the price, size, age (I'm 51), good workout. I'm not a person that goes to a gym and walking is fine except after working all day, getting home, making dinner, etc., the last thing I want to do is change and go out for a walk. My other concern was spending a lot of money on a huge contraption and never using it. It was easy to put together; in fact, my teenage daughter did it for me! It is a good size for my bedroom; I have it positioned in front of my TV, so I can work out in the privacy of my bedroom while watching the news. In 10-20 minutes, I've worked up more of sweat than walking outside.

    Not worth the money.
I was very disappointed in this treadmill. I like the price and the other reviews sounded good, so I don't know if I got a lemon or not. The belt would not stay in the middle no matter what I tried, and one of the wheels that turn it kept popping out. Only had it a week and returned it. It was very hard to walk on. Guess I'll stick to taking my walks outside!

    Annoyed
Product was easy to assemble but is heavy. After using it for a few minutes, I seen that the belt was slipping to the right. Following the adjustment instructions and getting it centered again, I got on and tried to use it again and again it went to the right. After another adjustment and trying it I just gave up. It is very frustrating and now I am not using it for fear of ruining the right side of the belt.

    Not thrilled.
The tread on this machine spins so fast you have to cling to the rail (& I didn't put any of the lubricant on it). If there were a 0% incline option, it might be ok, but it can only be used on an incline. I bought this because I have spinal problems & hoped to do some moderate walking to keep active. After walking 1 mile, clutching the rail the whole time, my back was so bad I could barely move the next day! I would have returned it if I could have gotten it to the post office & if the shipping fee weren't half the price of the item.

It meets my needs, worth every penny!!
This is the first time I purchase a manual treadmill just want to save the cost of the gym monthly payment. I do some research on internet and find out this one should meet all my needs within my budget. I struggle a little bit since there's a 1 star comment for it, but I finally give it a try since Walmart has a 90 days guarantee policy. As of now, I feel so happy that I made the right decision to purchase this unit: Shipping and Packaging: I use the ship to store option and receive the pickup notification after 4 days. The box is in good condition when I pick up in Walmart store. When I open the box at home, everything inside is well packed and no missing parts. (The box is not that big so I just go pick it up by myself) Assemble: This always be the difficult part to me, but this unit is almost pre assemble. After I go over the manual, just couple simple step: unfold – put the bolt on – slide the computer on then plug in – done! It took me about 25 minutes to put on, way shorter than I expect. Use: I've been use the unit for past couple days and 45 minutes each time. It's quiet, smooth and the computer works fine. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so the fold up function helps me to save lots of space. After all, I think this unit deserves a 5 star review. Of course, you can't compare it to the ones in the fitness center; the price is huge different. This is a simple unit without too much function, but it meets all my needs, and only 100+ dollars, it worth every penny. I will recommend it to all my friends.

    Great treadmill for warm-up activity
I recently bought a new home and set up a workout area; however, I needed a piece of equipment to use as a warm-up activity. This treadmill, so far, has been a great way to accomplish that goal. Although shipping was free, I chose the $4.95 shipping option and received it within two days! After having used it several times, I am very happy with this purchase. The pros of this treadmill: 1. Easy for my husband to assemble 2. Nicely cushioned rubber deck for a comfortable walking surface as I warmup 3. Easy to read computer display (I especially like to know distance and time elapsed.) 4. Heart pulse sensor to monitor my heart rate zone as I am warming up 5. Easy to fold and store out of the way when I continue with my workout routine For a manual treadmill this is a very quiet piece of equipment; in fact, it is quieter than an electric one I previously owned! I would highly recommend this treadmill.

You get what you pay for.
I'm not sure what I expected from a manual treadmill, but what I got was nowhere near what I had hoped for. Mainly, the belt that you walk on is very unstable. It constantly slides from side to side, and it jerks a lot, which causes you to lose your balance and is very disruptive when you're trying to workout. I also found that the noise of the band to be quite loud when I was using it, which I wasn't prepared for. For these reasons, I'm returning the treadmill and looking for something better. I plan on spending a bit more to get a higher quality machine. You definitely get what you pay for with this treadmill (which isn't much). Very disappointing.
