floortex cleartex chair mat
poor product. too soft, chair digs into plastic mat without sitting in it. it moves on low pile carpet, wont stay in place.

    Allows chair to glide easily. Easy to place. Properly priced. Highly recommend if you want to protect your low pile carpet. Just what we were looking for.

    Not thick enough
    We have 2 desks in our home office that we use daily so purchased 2 of them, and are not real happy with the quality, but I guess you get what you pay for. We've only had them down for a couple of weeks and are already getting divots in the mat which makes it hard to roll the chair around. The spikes on the mat are not enough to keep them from sliding on the carpet so have to reposition them a couple of times a week.

    Too soft for carpet.
    Very soft. Left chair imprints immediatly to the point the chair was hard to roll. removed the pad after about 30 minutes and returned it to the store. Might wotk better on a hard floor.

    Does the Job!
    I've been using the chair mat for a week plus now and it is working great. Possibly sliding a little on the carpet, but so minimal that is has not been an issue. Shipping was quick, mat was not rolled!

    Although the mat was good for the price, the teeth that go into the carpet did not hold the mat in place. As the chair rolls back and forth the carpet must move because after a few days the mat is not where it is supposed to be.

    I've had it a few days now and it is doing well. It arrived at the store when promised, the item was in good shape. It was flat and not rolled, so it stayed flat on the floor when I put it down. The picture on the box was not of the rectangular mat so I had to check before I left the store to make sure I had the right item. I did.
