Knob gets stuck every time
My daughter got this oven as well as an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas. She decided she wanted this oven because of the extra features and we returned the Easy Bake Oven. After using this once, I wish I returned this one instead. She was so excited when we opened the box to do some baking but once we got the pan into the oven... It wouldn't come out! The knob was all the way to the right so it literally wouldn't budge whatsoever. After a long struggle, it finally moved. It felt like the warming plate must have been too high and obstructed the pan from moving past it. Once the pan was in the cooling chamber, it again got stuck! Unreal. The most frustrating experience for six little cookies. The worst part was my daughter was disappointed because it seemed broken. Will definitely be returning this and getting the Easy Bake Oven back. I used the Easy Bake Oven as a kid and it was much easier to use than this product.

    Didin't work
    We got this for our daughter for Christmas. Opened the oven and put just 1 thing of brownies into it and it broke and the slider knob would not slide back and forth and release the stuff inside.

    This is a total waste of money. The measuring tool does not work at all, and the cookies bake very unevenly in the oven. Some are done, at least two are not. A lot of work for 6 teeny little cookies of which two are not done.

    Purchased this for my daughters birthday. She was so excited! We followed the direction to a tee. Put the pan in and went to pull it out and it wouldn't come out. It was stuck in there. Couldn't do anything to get it out. Get a real easy bake oven.

    Received broken oven
    My daughter wanted an easy bake oven but when I saw the Girl Scout oven, I thought she would love it since she's a Brownie who sells cookies. The oven is cute but limited to cookies. The oven worked enough to bake the cookies. But ours came with a non-functioning LED light. So we couldn't see into the oven. And it apparently affects the warming section. We tried to melt the chocolate chips that came with the thin mints. They didn't get warm at all. No melting. So I guess I need to send this back and see if a functioning LED light makes a difference. I usually shop at Target but have bought toys at Walmart twice in the last 3 months because of price and availabilty. Both times the toys were broken (the other was a light saber). Never again!

    Knob got stuck, cookies stayed inside.
    My girls were excited to use this for the first time. The knob got stuck and the cookies stayed inside. The tray looked like it was elevated and stuck to something also. We were not able to take the cookies out. After sticking the spatula in to pull it out, we were able to pull the cookies out after a 20 minute struggle. Will take this back. Not an easy use. Was reading reviews from someone else that their knob got stuck. Maybe this issue might be common.

    Frustrating
    Mixing instructions were incorrect. Every cookie stuck to the pan after I sprayed it profusely. You actually had to pull pan out with fingers before you could attach the double sided spatula. Nothing melted properly in the warming tray. Honestly, it was a lot of frustrating painful work for 6 one inch cookies. My daughter loved it, but I would rather teach her how to bake in a real oven. If this is an improvement, I would have hated to see the original.

    Cannot get the tray out
    This was on the top of a very short list of items my daughter requested for her birthday. She was thrilled when she opened it. She decided to do a trial run before plugging it in, heating and baking. She read the instructions, inserted the tray, and it became lodged inside the oven. I am pretty handy, but could not get it out myself without damaging the oven. There is a small space inside the opening between the plastic and top and bottom of oven. It kept getting stuck in that space. Needless to say I have one very disappointed birthday girl. Will be returning this. We may just have a faulty oven as I have not read of this problem often on many reviews. Can't decide if I will exchange it for a new one, or return it and go w/ the ultimate easy bake oven.

    Let-Down
    For starters, I'm a huge fan of Girl Scout cookies! I'm always craving them year round. When this came out, I was more than excited to get it. The oven reminded me of the standard Easy Bake oven, but a tad re-designed. Upon assembling, I called my niece over for some cookie time. The oven came with a mix, and I bought two additional. Each "batch"'came out to be about six very tiny cookies. So tiny, that my niece's hamster would think they were for him. The cookies were easy to make, but they were less than thrilling. Yes, they vaguely reminded me of Girl Scout cookie; however, they failed to curb either of our cravings. Personally, I would stick to a normal Easy Bake and make the mock-cookies in a real oven. There are plenty of recipes that will seem more real, and filling, than these little packets. My niece said she enjoyed her oven better, which means I donated mine. Little Girl Scouts or baker might enjoy it, but it's nothing special.
