No. No. No. Electric mowers are the way to go. This was a serious workout. You better be in good shape.

    Love it!
This is the first manual I've had and I really like it. It comes in handy for when you have some high grass in certain areas in the yard but not enough to get the gasoline mower out. I'm 57 yrs old and it was very easy to put together and use.

    Sturdy quality
I am over 55 and love this mower. Easy to push and quite enough not to wake up the whole neighborhood.

    Extremely Pleased !
I am 63 years old and I can push this mower at intervals with one hand. I went from 8 acres of land to less than a quarter of an acre. I thought 'my gosh' I don't want to bother with a gas mower. I raked my yard first paying special attention to twigs/sticks. I'd push it over the same area when stubborn taller grass needed a go over. I was having fun, zooming around, and getting exercise to boot. I plan to cut my yard once a week, and almost in a hurry for the week to pass so I can use it again. In regards to assembly, attach the handle to the red bolts, not the screws (that was a bit confusing to me). Also, when placing the little clips onto the red bolts, my fingers were not strong enough to push them on....I took a hammer and gently hit one time on each, and they went right on. Extremely pleased I made this choice. Keep in mind, some of the reel mowers are very stubborn and hard to push....this one is a breeze.

    Great mower for the price
This little reel mower works great for small lawns. It's easy to assemble and surprisingly really easy to push. It doesn't cut tall cupgrass very well and struggles with tall thick grass. Twigs get caught easily, but other than that it's a great little mower.

    Perfect for My Large Yard
This sturdy mower is perfect for me because it was easy to assemble, the sharp blades cut the grass in my large yard to near perfection, and this 5'4" 110-pound woman finds it very easy and fun to push around. The mower makes the grass smell fragrant, and I no longer have to concern myself with paying for fuel or expensive maintenance. My fuel driven motor used to kick the dust up everywhere in the dry spots, and I invariably lost my breath when half-way through mowing the front and back yard. I don't have that problem with this mower. I can mow the front and back yard with ease and nonstop. I recommend raking the yard so the mower doesn't jam on twigs that you'll have to remove before the sharp blades will turn again.
