Little Green around the edges, but don't count it out!
This is a very light-weight unit, compatible with the family of 40V Batteries! Great if you live in an area that may not have a ton of light outside, it's nice to see what you're doing if the snow starts coming down late. You do need to be mindful of the max load, wet, heavy, packed snow won't play nice with this entry-level snowthrower!

Figuring out the puzzle. What makes This thing tic
It would be nice to know you cannot turn off the lights on this unit unless you push the bar backwards and release Bought this machine early before the crowd comes in and takes the snow blowers I don't think the batters would mind having lights on constantly while turning on

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/06/2022GREAT replacement for the original 80v brushless snow bloweFor the past few years (couple three ish) I've been using an older Greenworks 80v snow blower. After getting frustrated with gas powered lawn tools, I decided to give battery power a try. The original 80v Greenworks snowblower was good but not great. The solid plastic auger chipped easily and sounded terrible if it tickled a rock or uneven edge of sidewalk (bright green shavings evidence of contact remain for weeks). One recent snow storm and the old model decided to quit working, so a replacement was needed fast. Enter this new 80v unit. I wanted to keep the same battery system since my lawmnower is also Greenworks 80v. This version seems to improve upon the few weaknesses of the previous one. Couple snow showers into the season and it's earned it's keep. Two thumbs upUnknown

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/20/202222" of 80V Snow Clearing PowerBought this after moving into new home, 60ft x 21ft concrete drive. Got hit with 1-1/2 day 10-12" snowfall. This beast gobbled it up. Pushed it a bit hard as some depths were even over intake height but did it in sections. No clogging..yeah. I have 2, 80V LI Pro Batteries. Needed mostly one, but spare helpful. Charged batteries inside in warm area. All great. I have many Greenworks products.JimBob73

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/14/2021In the nick of timeThis beauty arrived just in time for the biggest snowfall we've had this winter. It worked admirably, but did take a small learning curve. The snow was 10" and the thrower would stall on me if I worked it too hard. However, taking it a bit slower and not trying to go too deep it worked just fine. Loads better than shoveling!!Riceous

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/09/2021So far works well.Very easy to assemble. I only needed to assemble handle and snow chute. So far I've only used it once, but it worked very well. Quiet operation, just like the greenworks lawn mower.Unknown

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/26/2021A lifesaver in the MidwestI got my first Greenworks 40V lawn mower, a few years ago and never looked back. This year, out of necessity, I bought the Greenworks 40V snowblower. It works quite well despite the horrific snowfall. Sometimes I need to clear the chute (mostly due to wet ice) and attack steep snow in “steps” or sections but it still performs well under these conditions.CC in Chgo

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/16/2021Great Snow BlowerLove this snow blower! Obviously, at 40v it cannot plow through everything without stopping. But if you know that and take things slow it makes things sure a lot easier than what I did in the past (a corded snow blower)! Plus, I love that my battery packs get use in the summer (mower) and winter!Fred B

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/14/2021LIGHT DUTY BUT GETS THE JOB DONE....Previously had Geenworks 80 v pro sno blower that just quit (the second GW 80 v tool that just quit & unable to get repaired--I stick GW b/c I have a bunch of 80 v and 40 v batteries)--couldn't get in to shop for repair--so bought this b/c & we were still in snow season; this 40v served adequately so far in 2 light snow storms--have to modify technique-make two runs at a stretch of snow-doesn't throw it very far--hope it lasts---but gets the job done and definitely better that shoveling...401west
