Good cargo basket
I am very happy with this cargo basket. It fits great on our CR-V. It was easy to install. It has a low profile so wind noise is minimal. The price was right. I needed a roof basket to hold the Thule cargo bag that we already owned. It fits great. The plastic cover on the u bracket does come up on the screw threads. Just keep turning and the brackets get nice and tight. This will fit any cross bars. I have seen many reviews stating the brackets do not get tight enough. It is obvious to me they stopped at the plastic cover and did not try to tighten the brackets further. It does not take much strength to continue to tighten, the cover does move. Just don't stop at the slightest impediment and you will be fine.

It's a nice product but not what I expected, the screws that hold the three parts together do not tighten up properly.

    Great Product for the price
    After extensive research the only thing this product lacks is a good waterproof sealant. The gaskets provided are not sufficient enough but all I did was by some sealant from autozone for about six dollars. Just put it around all the screws and it stops it from rusting internally. Couldn't be happier with it especially for the price. Just as good as a comparable name brand.

    Seems like a decent rack so far. Mounting u bolts wouldn't tighten far enough to grip my this bars, mud I just made some spacers and works great. Would recommend if you are leaving on vehicle permanently that you replace the thumb nuts with locking nuts.

    Great Deal, Very Useful addition to my SUV.
    Install took over an hour...didn't have any issues with the install on my 08 Mazda Tribute Type S. Mounts were tight on the cross bars. Also it has minimal noise and no noticiable MPG drop. I would recommend changing the four easy off nut/handles to a locking nut so people don't steal it off your roof. Worth the money, I would recommend this ptoduct.

    Cute well sized roof basket for my Mini Countryman
    I was looking for a cargo basket for my Mini Countryman. I selected this because of it's size, price, and compatibility with my cargo bag. I picked it up at Walmart. First off, the only negative with that was that the line for the online order pickup before Christmas was so long and slow that I came back first thing the next day. Once I got the box, it was well packaged, all parts enclosed, and relatively easy to assemble. I don't know if the rubber gaskets which cover the joints will last over time, but we'll see. The method of securing to my roof rack works great. The cargo bag I have fits perfectly, and the rack looks cool on my car. It was one of the lowest priced items of it's type, and I am happy. No reason to overstuff the inside of the car anymore.

    Decent Product for Money .
    make sure to check every cross bar ( move it side to side ) I have found some weak one and lot of play . it can break if weight and due to driving condition . I would recommend you put locktite on all screws . I put red ( medium ) because once its assembled , I will not take it out . it didnt happen to me , but just dont want it becoming loose due to driving vibration or rechecking it . for the price , im really happy with this product . it can be better but , didnt want to spend more than 100 bucks . maximum weight capacity says 150lbs , but i wouldnt go that heavy . I put about max 50-65 and it holding up fine .
