Dead on the first initial test run
Dead on the initial test run. Got this on 2019 Black Friday. Finally opened it up in 2020. Followed the instructions in Getting Started Guide. While doing the initial test run ( without food), the air fryer just died. Display didn't turn back on after 5 mins.

It's super quiet, does the preheating automatically (it lets you know when it's preheated and tells you to add food). It lets you know when to turn the food. It does a great job of cooking the food and cleans up easily. Who knew we needed an air fryer? But we are using it all the time. Just love it.flymysky

We LOVE the black brushed metal look! Using about a month it cooks like a champ. I took 2 stars off as the basket doesn't glide in and out as well as we like. Another reason is the loud obnoxious noise it make when pressing the buttons for the settings. Ugh! I prefer not to keep it plugged in which lights up thr power button when it is. You press the center button below temp amd time to select which one you wamt to adjust. Then you press the play like button. Our old one was set up to press power when ready so that is something I am working on getting used to. If I do that on this machine it turns off and I have to start over. Keep this unit away from the wall just over a foot. It can cause the unit to overheat and catch fire. I make breakfast sausage almost every morning in it. I make mini lasagnas. It is so handy especislly in Arizona as it cuts down on cooking time, and I dont have to heat up our home in the summer with the oven for many meals!Unknown

I've seen a lot of reviews claiming it sucks at cooking chicken but I'd have to disagree. We do wings in it on a regular basis that come out with crispy skin and perfect on the inside. When doing breasts or strips make sure to lather them with olive oil before seasoning and you'll get juicy chicken on the inside with a crisp edge. Anything breaded you're gonna need canola cooking spray or melted butter works too. We mainly do chicken but have also successfully made breaded pork chops, bacon, sausage, fries, tots, hamburgers, onion rings, jalapeño poppers and tortillas . We've warmed personal pizzas and taquitos in too. The whole thing is non-stick so just hotwater n dishsoap gets it clean quickly. Only thing I wish it had was 2 separate cooking compartments so I could do the main dish and the sides at the same time. There are ones that have it but you'd have to be willing to pay upwards of $150... i feel they could be priced better. Kinda expensive for such a small one.Victoria

At first I thought it was noisy, but not so jarring to my senses now. Only tried fries so far, but they came out well. Still learning its uses, but I think it will be a helpful kitchen gadget. Good size, but doesnt take up an overwhelming amount of shelf space.OperaNole

I just did a good size chicken quarter at the recommendation and part of it was still totally raw after the suggested cook time. the few tenders I tossed in with it look burned and aren't appetizing in appearance. The point of deep frying to me is evenness and speed. This thing offers neither. There's no point in a large cooking chamber if you can only cook one thing at a time. Save your money and go smaller or go greasy. My expectations were way too high.devon
