Our 3 year old LOVES this bed!
This is the PERFECT toddler height loft bed for our 3 year old. We opted for the version with stairs vs. the ladder since she had a hard time getting up/down her cousins' bunkbed with ladder. She can easily go up/down and crawl right up into bed, even dragging several toys with her. I love the fact that it is just the right height off the ground for us to check on her, make her bed, and she can even look out the window. We ended up with a mattress that is taller than the 6" requirement, so we just added a portable railing between the permanent metal railing on the bed and her mattress, which gives an extra 3-4" at top, and it works great.

Unhappy customer
This is the WORST thing to put together! The parts dont line up. I have triple checked to make sure Im using the parts they say to use. And I dont know what to do since I had to rip apart the box to get the stuff out.

Solid bed frame, but obnoxious errors
Overall, the bed frame is pretty solid and looks great, but we have a few complaints; things didn't line up how they were supposed to, making assembly take much longer than necessary. There is an error in the instruction book regarding a bar used for support for one of the storage steps; it instructs that it goes an incorrect way and we had already put most of it together by this point, so we had to take things back apart. The storage steps are surprisingly heavy duty, BUT the bed frame doesn't come with risers needed to make the bottom shelf properly slide in and out, it only suggests it for carpeted floors (hardwood is apparently fine). The stairway leading to the bed was also much more narrow in person.

    Perfect fit.
I ordered this item for pick up and the packaging was awesome the box had wheels to bring it up smoothly from the car to the house. Very difficult to set up but the end result is perfect. I would recommend the mattress to be 6" so the railings can protect my child. Overall very pleased.

Cute Fire Engine Bed for kids
I like the idea that the panel set that makes the bed look like a fire engine is removable in case the child grows out of liking fire trucks. The area under the bed is great for fitting your toy boxes and being a cool place to hide under. The panel set has windows for the child to look out of for fun. The stairs have storage area inside them which is great. My son is very pleased and likes the view from up top.

    Awesome bed!!!
I got this for my 5 year old, and she absolutely LOVES IT!!!!! It was not complicated to assemble, did take about 3 hours that was after I went through all the pieces to make sure everything was there and organize to start the assembly process. Really a great purchase, couldn't be happier with it.

Excellent way to add storage space to a small room
We bought the bed for our 5 year old because her room is very small and overflowing with toys. It's tall enough for her to crawl under to play with her dollhouses, but short enough that she's in no danger of hitting the ceiling fan. It's very sturdy, I can lay down with my daughter to read her stories without any creaks. The only downside was how long it took to put together. I'm usually really fast at putting together furniture, but it still took me 4.5 hours. There are a lot of screws, bolts, and cams to install. You'll want to finger tighten everything as you go to get the proper fit, then go back at the end and tighten everything up, except for one piece of the stairs that covers two bolts, those bolts need to be tightened first or you'll have to take the stair back off. It was worth the work though, my daughter loves it, and she has floor space now. I tied rope lights to the bottom of the bed to give her more light as she plays, added a sheet over part of the top to make it into a tent, and lined the rails with her stuffed animals.
