2nd Architecture (Wife)
This is the wife's second Lego set with the first being Architecture Big Ben. She says everything about it is great except the Wheel. It is wobbly and doesn't look complete. We both agree with the previous review that the top of the Wheel should be white.

    Reliving memories....
    I purchased this set for my husband in honor of our 36th wedding anniversary and our first trip abroad, about 12 years ago, which was to London and Paris. It was fun to talk about our memories of the trip as he built the London skyline. We both thought the Tower Bridge and the London Eye were very clever. He has decided that we need to have and build the Paris skyline now and I agree....

    Another great set for the Architecture line!
    Fun little set with some clever design features here. I especially like this set because of the landmarks chosen... In a city with tons to pick from, these were the ones that really stuck with me after visiting London a couple years ago. A great trip, and now a great set to remind me of it!

    Fun to build yet just challenging enough to not be high on the difficulty scale. Very clever design and interpretation of the London Eye and Tower Bridge. A satisfying way to spend a couple of hours.

    This is my first Lego architecture line (a gift from a close relative), and as a Brit I'm jolly pleased to have received a cityscape of London. The design is a smart, delicate, well thought-through build to a Lego architecture set. The shapes and subtle colour schemes of the miniature buildings balance with each other perfectly. To achieve such detail on a remarkably small-scale is very impressive. Whilst the majority of the build was relatively straight forward, I found the building of the London Eye to be most tricky in terms of achieving symmetry with the 'pods' around the wheel. It's a clever design but the wheel does tend to wobble around a lot if being moved. But as it's a display piece I don't think this really matters. It's worth remembering though, that although this set is designed for observation rather than 'play', the build can be dismantled at your discretion so you can make other things with the available bricks - it is Lego after all! In conclusion this is a wonderful, impressively splendid model perfect for display.

    Cool Set!
    Being my first Lego in many years, I enjoyed it very much. The instructions were clear and I didn't want to stop once I started. I think it's a great landmark and Lego was in line. The only area to improve I'd suggest is the top of the wheel as it's not very rounded and the colour is questionable. Overall, great set and very pleasant experience. Looking forward to my next set!

    Quite straightforward, even for a novice
    I haven't built a Lego model for around 15 years and first saw a constructed version of this on display in the Leicester Square store. My husband bought this for me and I thoroughly enjoyed building it. I agree with other reviews that the top of the Eye would be better with white parts. We also felt that the base of Tower Bridge looked unfinished and found some parts that finished it nicely (see pic). Now planning my next project!!!

    Great set
    This set is great. It includes builds of the National Gallery, Nelson's Column, Big Ben, the London Eye & Tower Bridge on a base plate. The set looks really good but is only for display, not to be played with really. I think the inclusion of a small boat under Tower Bridge is nice. The instruction book includes pictures and information about each of the landmarks and is higher quality than normal books. I think the price is a bit too high but the set looks great and I highly recommend this to people who love LEGO & London. This is my first Architecture set and I enjoyed building it.

    Coolest Skyline Yet
    Of the skyline line, the London set is my favorite. The London Eye is genius. Would love to see a second skyline with The Shard and other London landmarks.
