Solid,Reliable
The Rifleman series is a solid,reliable product.Appears to be a Vari-X ii,function wise.No bells and whistles.Time proven coin turn,friction adjustments work just fine.Not quite a VX 1,but a good scope nonetheless.I like it.Never let me down.

    Do yourself a favor, buy the Gold Ring!
    I finally made the plunge into going deer hunting more regularly last year. Every time I asked one of my buddies what to buy they said Leupold! I have been thrilled with the Rifleman so far, my shooting range is typically only out to about 250 yards (Central and East Texas) and this little guy gets the job done every time. Built well, holds zero well, once I got it setup I never touched the zero all last season. Keep making great products. Keep making it here in america. And you have made a fan for life with this scope.

    Great scope
    I bought this scope on a Saturday and dialed it in on Sunday. On Monday morning I shot good buck in a rain storm. I like the crisp reticle and quality but what I didn't expect was the clarity while shooting in a deluge. Great scope. Im buying another for my rifle.

    When I can I will buy another Leupold.
    I have been wanting to get this scope for a long time. The price is right for me. The quality exceeds my expectations. I have had a lot of scopes in my life but none have had the clarity and the durability as Leupold.

    My first REAL scope.
    This scope was gifted to me by my uncle for my .22 and granted my loyalty to a Leupold for such amazing quality. It goes to show that you don't have to break the bank to still get amazing quality. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone beginner-experienced.

    it takes my abuse like a champ!
    I broke 2 rifle scopes before I bought this one when I was 18. I am now 30 years old and this scope still sits atop my 30-06. As a kid, I hunted PA for whitetail putting on drives. Now I run hounds for black bear in NC, and even though I never take the scope off 3 power except at the range, it has served me well. We have a long bear season and I put my rifle through a lot of abuse trying to keep up with the dogs, I doubt many variable power scopes on the market could take what I have put this thing through. My Dad still shakes his head when I tell talk about rolling down the mountain with my rifle strapped to me. I stopped worrying about it a long time ago and just hunt.

    Great Optics
    I've had my rirfleman scope for over 15 years. It holds its zero like a champ and I've never had anything but a clear view at the game I chase. From the blues to Hells canyon, it's has seen rain, snow and heat. It's held up great. Great product.

    Rifleman 3-9x40mm scope
    I have 2 of these scopes, one mounted on AR15 5.56 20" and AR15 AAC 300 16" and both are great. Very clear optics, hold 0 perfectly. Price was in my budget for 2 scopes.
