Great humidifier
Bought this for the master bedroom. It's quiet and doesn't leave any moisture on the floor. Every once in a while it will go glug glug which scared my schnauzer at first but now we don't even notice it. The handles make it easy to fill. The moisture is essential in the winter months. Too loud!
I have a smaller, older version of this humidifier in my bedroom and wanted a larger size so I wouldn't have to fill it every night. Unfortunately, this is much louder than the smaller Holmes humidifier that I already own. It does a great job of humidifying but the noise is bothersome when trying to fall asleep.

    Best humidifier
    I was so happy with mine that I bought one for my son & his family. It's hard to find a humidifier that actually puts out the water. This one does the job. In our part of the country the water is extremely hard and the filters need to be changed fairly often (about I per month) which keeps the water output at a high level.

    Works very good.
    This is the second one I have bought. The other one is about 3 or 4 years old. End of season sale, could not resist the price. Have a smaller one with a different type of filter which is going to goodwill. Run these continuously and they don't break down. Bought extra filters and am all set for next year. Now they both take the same wicking filter.

    I bought this to replace the humidifier of another brand that blew a white powder all over the house and especially into the HVAC system. Furnace filter was filthy. This cool mist humidifier s quiet, efficient and most of all clean running. No more white powder. We are happy campers.

    Excellant Humidifier
    We've had a cool mist humidifier for years and it was noisy as all get out. We'd have to turn the TV up when the humidifier kicked on it was so noisy. I bought this one and boy is it quiet!!!! It is easy to set and controls are on the front panel. You can't go wrong with a Holmes product and this humidifier is a perfect example!!!

    Well designed, easy to use, works perfectly
    I bought this humidifier to replace an older unit and am very happy with it. The humidity setting is very easy to use and it works well, doesn't constantly turn on and off like my old unit. Ability to change fan speeds or choose continuous on is a plus as well. Water tank has a handle for carrying and a separate handle to hold while filling, which was a nice design addition.     Very happy with my purchase!
    I had a Bemis waterwick humidifier for years and loved it and last year purchased a Sunbeam model that was completely unsatisfactory...so I was skeptical...however; this humidifier is the best one I have ever owned. Three speeds and quiet...easy to fill and clean.

    Just what I wanted!
    I bought this to replace a Holmes Humidifier that I had had for 20 years that had stopped working. I had tried buying a humidifier from the store, but it spit out a lot of mist, could not control the flow or amount of moisture put out and it left the surrounding area damp. It was also way too quiet. This humidifier has controls for humidity level and output so I can control the mist level and it has just the right amount of 'white noise' output.     Super Quiet!
    I waited for this to get in stock. Finally was able to order and so glad, beats the old smaller version I'd had for 4 years. It's a bigger unit with replaceable filter (ordered more from Holmes), bigger tank, nice controls, great design. Now that it's getting colder in Chicago I can mitigate the radiator heat my landlord cranks up ...very comfy, thanks Holmes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
