Time will tell
Out of the box the backboard was dirty and scratched up. The plastic backboard panel is very thin. The bottom hoop fastening pin is barely long enough to fit retainer spring washers. Directions refer you back and forth from a separately sold backboard adjustable bracket and the backboard directions. Overall feeling is this will be a short lived piece of equipment.

    48" Board and Rim Installed
    Overall, I'm happy with the end result...getting there was a bit of effort. The bracket took some building but was not too bad and all supplied bolts were good. Fitted to the wall with 4x M8 anchor bolts which seem sturdy. The The final two M12 bolts needed for mounting the board were poor as the nuts could not be threaded onto the bolt so bought some replacements. Due to the weight of the board and awkwardness of lifting and positioning to get the two M12 bolts through, I ended up having to hire some access platform for safety...certainly worth it just to be safe. Being an Engineer, I would suggest a review of the bracket as install of the board to the bracket could be made much easier, for example droping the board onto supports then anchor it down. Was very tricky to support the board whilst threading the bolts through several bits of bracket. Main thing is it is fitted, secure and son is happy.

    Mounting to existing pole , ouch
    Backboard and rim exactly as pictured, mounting to my existing lifetime pole was difficult at best. Delivery was fine even during the holiday rush.

    Great backboard and easy to install
    Great backboard. Easy to follow instructions in clear English. I recommend it. You'll need to use a separate mounting kit or, your old kit if replacing an existing backboard.

    Good backboard by a trash company
    Great backboard for the price. I'd give it 4 stars but I bought the "COMPATABLE" universal Lifetime mount with the backboard, assuming same manufacturer would make for an easy install and I couldnt have been more wrong. The mount came missing pieces and is made as if it's designed for any backboard but this one. Luckily I got it to work but my lord does the mount stink.

    Not a slam dunk to assemble, but OK.
    Doesn't work with older Y brackets - need separate mounting kit. But works with older post. Many screw holes missing or ill-fitting. Poor in workmanship, but fine for a backyard goal.

    The item came in well packed and it is as shown in the picture. I have not yet hook it up, the frame mount assembly to attach the backboard is sold separately

    Good backboard for the price
    We replaced a cheaper and broken backboard of Lifetime with this one and so far it is fun to play with it. For the price paid, it is good quality. You need to bear in mind that you need the mounting kit in case you do not have one. Only challenge was that the provided springs for the rim are too long and did not fit the original Lifetime mounting kit I had. We used the older springs and it works well with it too. Overall good product, lots of fun to play.

    There are no brackets to attach this backboard to anything, you will need to purchase the mounting brackets also.
