Does not read or work
Dead on arrival. Spent 3 hours trying to get it to read 1 cd to import music but it turns on, STRUGGLES to start, then turns off. Looked online for solutions and I don't see it being resolved. would return it but threw away the box already :/ it's a 20$ paperweight :/

    Very pleased!
    For me it turned out to be a simple plug and play. Came with instructions that I looked at quickly and thought I will refer to them as I go along but there was no need as it was a very simple set up, it was recognized by my computer and worked immediately. I installed a program right after without any issues and since then have brought out old family photos on cd to see if they could be read and viewed and it was perfect! So yes I would recommend this product, so far so good!

    Never Worked
    No matter what I did it never worked. My pc was able to tell I connected it to a dvd drive but whenever I tried to use it would read any of my disks that I put in it, I tried multiple different kinds of cd

    easy peasy!!
    bought this because todays newer cars do not have cd players in them. I have over 400 cd's. I just used an audio aux cord, hooked it up, hit aux on my dash, popped in a CD and off we go. No downloading required!!

    A Basic Drive
    Bought this for an older laptop which did not have a disc drive. This gets the job done and works with older operating systems (I was running Windows XP). The plastic housing is thin so you need to be gentle with it. The drive itself is fine (it's a Toshiba Drive).

    Does not work on my computer.
    It does not work on my computer out of the box. I get an icon that says my computer does not recognize the usb. I don't know if its my computer or the dvd reader that is not functioning. I am working with nichegeek to see if I can get my computer do accept the usb port so the dvd device can work. But for now it does not work. The print on the instructions that come with the device is so small that I needed a magnifying glass to read what was on there.
