This is a great set well worth the $39.97 unfortunately I paid $48.97. This Set is still good just upsetting to find I paid $9.00 more then anyone else. So you need to watch those prices before buying.

Mainstays cookware is just plain JUNK!. I got a set for Christmas and the first time I used it it scratched and continues to do so everytime I use it. Yes I ONLY use teflon utensils. I'll never recommend this product to anyone! Actually this product doesn't even rate a 1 star.

    Great value
    I purchased these as a cheap replacement to my old set that my husband scratched all the teflon off by using metal utensils, to my surprise they have been holding up very well. I gave the accompanying utensils away as I didn't need them. The pots and pans are very light weight, and wash up well. We did take the time to season them before use which I think really helps.

    Mainstay non stick cookware
    The set appears to look bigger than it is the skillet was to small the big skillet needs to be bigger. Other than the set is very light weight and has a nice coating in it.

    Great for the price!
    I recently received the Mainstays 18 piece set, and couldn't believe I received all of that for the price I paid! It was so worth it! The red was beautiful, the non-stick was perfect, and I had many options of pots to use. The only small downside was that the pots are very thin.. Thin meaning one of my pots may have somehow been slightly bent in transport causing the sides to not be perfectly round, but being how thin the pots were, I was able to bend it back into, or as close as I can get to, a circular shape. Otherwise, for the price I can't ask for anything more. I'm so happy with this purchase.

    The pans metal/teflon coating extremely thin. Does not always sits even on stove or cook well. I gave away after a month of bad cooking. T-Fal is the best longest lasting cookware, thicker pan/coating, best brand. Still have 1st set from over 10 yrs ago. Got another 18 pc set at kmart for 59.99 vs walmart 79.99. Best deal/best buy T-Fal. Faberware is OK too, pretty comparable to the t-fal, I would put 2nd. But never mainstays again!

    Mainstays 18pc Non-stick Cookware Set
    I LOVE my 18pc Mainstays cookware set! I've read all of the reviews & I've had NO PROBLEMS w/the non-stick coming off & I've used mine to boil & fry on a high setting. It's a bonus that the set comes w/cooking spoons & spatulas, altho they are not super sturdy. I did go out & buy a 3pc Frying pan set in addition to this set because the Mainstays 18pc set gives you plenty of round/deep pans but No Large or Medium size frying pans. Still satisfied w/my purchase =-)
