Excellent choice for the money.
Easy to order. Received ahead of projected date. Easy to put together (although there are lots of parts and it is tedious x 6 chairs!). Sturdy, durable, perfect for a Florida patio. Love it!

Not well made
Missing screws, and stripped out screws on the legs of the chairs. At least one was stripped out on every chair. Assembly instructions are confusing. Should have been better quality for the money spent.

    Great product - takes time to put together
    Product seems to be sturdy and just what I wanted (no cushions to worry about). The directions were very clear and easy to understand, however, it was somewhat tricky to put together. On one chair and one table leg the screws broke inside. this required a trip to a store for a screw, drilling out the broken screw, and a tool to rethread the leg so the new screw could go in. Unfortunately, it is over the holidays and the company is closed for over a week, so they could not help. Only suggestion - Let the store put it together!!!

    Buy this table!
    Very pleased with the quality, price, overall look of this table set. You won't be disappointed. Was stuck between purchasing this table set and one from Sears that looks exactly like it. The only difference was $150 less at Wal-Mart. Can't beat that!

    Set is OK
    The set is fine. Waited 4 weeks to get and suppose to be here in 10 days. Walmart said 1 box lost and had to reorder. Finally received it and then 1 of chairs was chair and arms wrong. Had to reorder the chair that is not a swivel. Would never order something like that online again.

    Overpriced
    The table is a little cheaper looking when you put the whole thing together, which took us 4 hours to do!! The talble is too small for the size of the chairs. Love the chairs - super comfy and great for outdoor weather. Could have been better priced overall.

    Beautiful set!
    Very heavy duty and beautiful. It withstood the big storm we just had here in Jacksonville. Trees were falling and debri everywhere but the table and chairs did not move a bit! The only part that was a pain was putting it all together from scratch. Some of the holes didnt match up perfectly, so you need brute strength to get it together. We love it!

    Good Experience and I Bought Four Sets!
    I was in need of a large amount of outdoor deck and porch furniture. My old set had simply fallen apart after 30 years of service, it was time. The front porch is a wraparound large cape cod style that is covered yet open. The deck is not covered, it rains fairly often where I live so I had no interest in cushions this time around. I was tired of having to deal with putting cushions away all the time before it rained. This set has a great outdoor fabric that is dry almost instantly after a rain. Worst case is a quick once over with a towel and you are ready to seat guests. Also because I was looking for so much furniture I did not want to break the bank, budget was a concern. That is how I arrived at selecting the Mainstays York Collection. I ended up purchasing the Mainstays York 7 Piece Patio set and the Mainstays York Chaise Lounge for the deck and the Mainstays York 4 Piece Conversation set and the Mainstays York 5 Piece Leisure Patio Set to create two seating groups on the front porch, as it is a quite large front porch. With everything matching, I can move chairs from the front to the back as needed. I like how there are quite a few matching sets in the York Collection. I utilized the “Ship To Store” option to save the $144 shipping was going to cost on so much furniture. I have read negative stories on this service so I was a bit concerned; it did take the full amount of time quoted, about 10 days total to arrive at the store. I received both a text message and email on my phone, so I hooked up the trailer and headed over to the local Walmart. The people at my local store are great, so the pickup was a snap. I was in and out in about 15 minutes time. So my “Ship To Store” story has a good outcome. Nothing was broken, albeit there were two posts missing for the swivel chairs on the 7 Piece set. I called the 800 number, they shipped them out in about a weeks' time, so the set is complete. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the sets at the price. A few screws needed some persuasion to go in. A good set of tools will go a long way to speeding up assembly. There is quite a bit of assembly work to this set, I assembled them over two days with a few beers, so it was fun for me. Takes about an hour per set. If you're not into assembly, better line up a few friends when they arrive. The long term durability of the finish and some of the plastics parts at the table leg attachment points are of a concern. Likely me being a bit paranoid, as nothing has happened so far. I will be moving this set indoors during the winter months to assure it lasts for years. Summary: I would buy this again, happy with my decision and the “Ship To Store” experience was positive.

    I purchased this set for my back deck which is 14 x 12. It is a great set and a great buy but it takes up a lot of room. The chairs don't push under the table and they don't stack. It is a beautiful color and great quality but make sure that you have space for it!
