GREAT TASTING PIE AND CRUST AT A GREAT PRICE
This and the pecan are my two favorite Marie Callendar pies. The crust and topping on the Dutch Apple are particularly delicious. Your price is really good...as much as $2 less that other stores. Going to start doing all my grocery shopping at Walmart's . Prices are excellent...important in these trying times.

No expiration date!
I don't know about you but I don't like seeing a package without an expiration date or any other indication of when and where it was made! The area where it should have been printed was completely blank! I'm not going to try it!

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/19/2022Thick box, thin pieThis pie used to be a deep dish pie. The box is the same size, the price is the same, but once you open the box you find the pie is not near as thick. The height of the box is almost twice the thickness of the pie. By grossly over packaging the pie they trick you into thinking the pie is deep dish, until you open it. The pie does still taste good.Rick

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/26/2022Watch Closely! This is very delicious, however, you need to cover the edges in foil before you bake, and check it after 40 minutes, they do burn easily. I caught it in time.Unknown

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/24/2022I'll not buy againFor a long time I've gotten mrs. smiths dutch apple pie. When I could not find it, I went for this brand based on enjoying the pot-pies I get from them. I tried it today and it seems to have less apples and more of this sugar sauce than I'm not used to. The pie was boiling after the hour cooking to put the topping on, so much so it popped a lot of the topping off the pie entirely.. Looking over the ingredients I see a lot more additives than I'm used to.. Please forgive me for the review. It looks like I'll have to go to another store to pick this up or I'll have to learn to make this pie myself. i used to get mrs smiths since it was less work and the pie was about equal to what i could make, but this pie is not as good.Michael

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/24/2022Dont buy this pie !These pies were delicious for a long time until recently. Marie Callenders changed the recipe or just plain out cheapened it. The filling is 90% some kind of apple jell instead of real sliced apples...like it used to be. The crust doesnt seem the same either, as it once was. At one time this was the best frozen pie on the market... Not any more. Shame on you Marie Callender.ed

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/18/2022Sadly, I cannot/do not recommend. Her Coconut Cream Pie is awesome, which is why I purchased the Apple. It was disappointing. We had a first-time experience with one of her pies as well as with an Apple Pie -- we ate approx. 1/2Sharon
