Best piece of exercise equipment I ever purchased! Lightweight, sturdy, easy assembly. Used for about 2 weeks now and I'm already seeing results :) 2 - 3 minutes, 4 days a week is all it takes until you can build your stamina up. I'm 47 and have worked out regularly for years, but when I started using this machine for 2 minutes and it will get your heart rate up, LOL I thought ok this isn't gonna do anything and boy oh boy, the next morning I discovered the muscles I hadn't been reaching with my normal work out routine. The foot pedals could be a bit larger but once you place your feet correctly there shouldn't be a problem. Pay attention to your form when using to get the best possible workout and to avoid injury. My kid who is 16 tried and it knocked himself in the face because he wasn't paying attention to his form LOL I don't use the timer on the machine as it's in a very awkward place, but I set the timer on my phone and that works just as well :)

Received falling out of open box
Clearly was returned in bad shape, and then just shipped to me the same way. Expected a new product. Parts are falling out.

Decent Machine, But Not For Beginners
We always have good intentions when it comes to fitness, but sometimes we set our goals too high too fast... this was one of those times. My boyfriend had a gift card for Walmart and we've been wanting to get some exercise equipment, but didn't want to shell out too much money, so this seemed like the perfect compromise. I initially wanted a treadmill, but opted for something a little more adventurous. I have to say, this thing is not as easy to use as they make it look. Unless you are generally fit and somewhat athletic already, using this product is almost like a torture device (I may be a little dramatic, but my legs weren't at the time). It really does make you work your entire body (and I mean ENTIRE body) and you will feel the burn pretty quickly. I can see why this is a versatile product for getting a whole body workout, but unless you are training to be a mountain climber or want to maintain a certain physique, I probably wouldn't get this if you're just starting out.

this machine does give you a complete workout. im embarrased to say but i was only able to do it for about 6 minutes, lol. its height adjustable too. doesnt take up any space either. i did stop using it bc my knee started to hurt. but it didnt get hurt bc of the exercise, it was already hurt, and i just couldnt use it. but when i did make the effort, i had soreness all over and you sweat alot too. and i would use it with videos on you tube so that was cool. i ended up giving it away bc my knee couldnt handle it. but it did provide an incredible workout.

    Good for whole body workout
Easy to assemble. Great for small space. This is a great work out machine for self-motivated ppl. If you have any joint pains I would not recommend it. The machine makes a squeaking noise which can be annoying. I suggest buying a placement or something if you have a wooden floor.

    Excellent work out!
It actually had some assembly and was not quite "fully assembled" as advertised. But, it was not difficult or too time consuming to do. It's a hard work out at first but if you stay with it you will build endurance and be glad you did.

    Maxiclimber
I have used the Maxiclimber several times now and have good and bad points. The good points are, it takes up very little floor space, was very reasonably priced and does provide one heck of a workout. The cons are, it is somewhat noisy and the foot pedals are too small. Would be much more comfortable if they were just a little bigger. My foot wants to slide to the side and I have to stop pedaling to move it back. In spite of these two drawbacks, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive piece of equipment. It really works your arm and shoulder muscles as well as your thighs. So far, I have only been able to do about 6 or 7 minutes before my muscles are screaming.

    great exercise, watch your knees
I read the reviews and they were great. I bought a knee brace because sometimes my knees hurt. I can do 10 min and my knees start to hurt a little. But those 10 min are a hard workout. It took 3 days for the top of my legs not to hurt and then I could go up steps without them hurting. Now I am not in pain and just getting a good workout. The steps are small and you have to put the middle of your foot on the steps or other parts of your legs start to hurt. It takes up very little space and can be moved easily. It was very easy to put together. I would recommend this for a good workout.

    So happy!
I've wanted this exercise machine since Sleeping with the Enemy and I saw Julia Robert's crazy husband going crazy using it. (Some of you wont get this and others are probably laughing)It' has taken close to thirty years, but I finally have it! I recommend two things; get a good mat to place it on that has a decent amount of foam, to absorb some it the impact. You MUST wear a good athletic shoe. This makes it so much easier in your knees. The only negative comment I would have is that I wish the resistance was a little smoother, but for $200, it's a GREAT deal and a SERIOUS WORKOUT. I'm so very pleased and hope this will help you in your decision making!

    Great workout!
Great workout. I could only do it for a minute ot two when we purchased it. I'm up to 10 - 15 minutes after week 1 and hope to be at 20 minutes or more by the end of week 2. Stick with it, it becomes more tolerable the more you do it : ) You will hurt the next day after day 1's workout for 15 minutes : )
