Horrible checmical smell that can't be fixed.
It definitely got rid of the musty smell and replaced it with the smell of a recently exploded chemical plant. There's not even a hint of the classic new car smell. I followed directions, aired it out, sprayed goid smelling stuff, etc and my car still overwhelmingly stinks a week later.

    great idea if it worked
    This is a great idea if it worked. The "locking tab" cant withstand the pressure when the product starts to come out. It last about 3 seconds then it closes. This makes the item worthless as you cant sit in the car with it.

    I bought this air freshener around Christmas for myself, and used it thinking it was an excellent idea, but it wasn't. At first my car did smell good, but soon after it started smelling sour like vinegar. My girlfriend also used this exact freshener later, and soon enough her car started smelling like vinegar. I replaced my cabin air filter, and still have a hint of vinegar smell inside of my vehicle. I drive a 19 mustang, and she drives a Malibu, so I have no idea as to why it made our vehicles smell like vinegar.

    Love this smell.
    Leaves scent for a couple days. A nice refresh for my car. I use about 1 a month. Personally it's my favorite NEW CAR smell.

    you wont sense / smell the effect righ away, perhaps need a couole days...in my vehicles case, i still feel tha it beeds an additional dose of ths canister content.
