Highly recommend scratch almost fully gone!
I just bought this and it works great, it almost removed a pretty bad scratch on my car completely! The only (obvious) part that wasn't completely gone, was hidden enough to leave a pleasing result. I will definitely buy again (if needed)!

Still doesn't help metalic finish.
There is a reason the cars they show in their video advertiseing is not metalic finish. I have always onley owned vhehicals with a metaic finish. This one and any and all otheres I have done some good but not the same as the ones in the videos with special lighting and staegeing. This pictuer was taken close up with a flash. It is what I see as I am driving. Back up 5ft and it is ok but I can't drive My vhical from 5ft away.

    Excellent stuff
This stuff works great, and it's easy to use. I had some unidentified stain that looked like motor oil on my daughters Jeep. This stuff took it off really easy. The stain was not sticky , and was solidified and smooth, I'm not sure what it was.

    Pretty Good
I got this to use on my 2013 Nissan Versa. I had spots on the hood, trunk and the top of the car from leaving the car under a tree. My car is white, so the spots were really noticeable. I used Meguiar's Compound today on the top of the trunk

    Great Product
Fantastic start and I haven't polished or waxed yet. The car was washed very well twice before compounding and you would not believe how much grime came out on the towels and bonnet. The application bonnet had a ring around the edges and the towels has nasty dark streaks. I was shocked at the amount that was still on the car after two washings but wow, this stuff pulled it out. She's looking real good and is so darn slick after the compounding. Today, I go after 2 scratches that were really reduced by the compound with ScratchX. I cannot wait to polish and wax. Off to a great start.

Made my 2008 paint look new and vibrant again amaz
Awesome product don't understand bad reviews. I used it on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee and wow don't remember that color looking so vibrant. Made the paint look brand new again. I used a orbital polisher buffer made doing it so much faster and easier with much better results.

    Headlight restoration
Used for a headlight restoration after sanding using 1000 2000 then 3000 grit sandpaper. This really cleared the headlight after sanding the oxidation off. The polish just came in so will see if it makes it even clearer

    Works on sun-damaged hood!
I think pictures speak for themselves so please check them out! I used this with Maguiars black wax and got a pretty nice result! My 2015 Escalade had pretty bad sun damage on the hood from the California sun.

Meguiar's should use this photo on the label
Results don't get much better than this, and it certainly doesn't get any easier. Look at the side of the hood that is done in the photo and what it started out as in the other. A big difference achieved with very little work. Here is what you do: clean the vehicle. I did not want to wash my Jeep because it has enough rust already, so I wiped it down with a wet paper towel. Put on some latex gloves because this is not car wax; it has a warning on it. Grab two old socks and put them on your hands- make sure to do this where your neighbors can see you :) Miyagi the compound on/off with your old socks in small circles over a small area at a time. My socks turned red, but then this is some old paint. Apply more compound if it drys on the vehicle before you get it off. Follow up with a paper towel to remove any light residue. Repeat as desired. I went over the portion of the hood that is done twice. This works using abrasives in the compound that remove a tiny bit of the outermost part of your vehicle's paint, revealing the shinny paint underneath that hasn't seen the light of day since the vehicle was painted. It does what people used to do with super-high-grit sand paper and a bottle of water, only with a lot less work. I can't speak to what it would do for a scratch on new paint, but for my old Willys Jeep it made one heck of a difference.

    A+
2003 BMW hood haze *fixed* Cleaned with wax remover pre-paint cleaner. Then used with foam buffer pad and a misting spray bottle to buff haze off hood. Removed light scratches and brought back the shine! Followed up with wax remover again and hand waxed with quality wax. Great “very fine cut” product. My photo shows the clouds in the sky above not the “haze”
