Look a new litter box!
First, be sure to measure out the listed size so you know exactly how large it will be. Our cat likes getting a new litter box. She weighs around 17 pounds so she needs room. Although, we are keeping this one, the next change out will be back to the giant size. But this is perfect for probably 10 to 12pounds and under. When you don't have enough room , no matter how it's designed the cat will get litter outside the box . One feature on this that's different and nice is the very front has a scooped out entrance almost like a pourable spout so you can actually use it that way if you dump all the litter out. It also makes it easy for the cat to get in and out without jumping and taking litter along. The weight and quality is decent, and the price is reasonable. All in all, I would give this five stars.

Tell people this is a gigantic size.
It is over sized, there is no space in my bathroom for it. I donated it right away.

He has trouble fitting in most cat boxes so he ends up going to the bathroom over the sides but not with this one. It's very large making those yucky accidents very rate now. The plastic is good heavy duty so that the sides and bottom stay firm when you pick it up to dump, and there are handles that stick out on both sides for easy pick up and holding onto. It also has a "pour spout" in front which makes for easy emptying. The ONLY thing I am less happy with is the fact it is NARROW and doesn't give much room for my fur baby to turn around in it. She tends to get out to cover up, which in turn gets more litter on the floor.Tammara

There is a silly myth that cats want "privacy" and need an enclosed sandbox. This is absurd. Cats don't need, want, require or even have any conception of privacy. Vets say that an enclosed sandbox makes cats claustrophobic, and nervous. The first time my cat saw this open box, she went right in and used it. Cats don't need carbon filters, covers, flaps, deodorant, or any other of those silly marketing devices. Use a good quality, clumping litter, scoop it daily, and you will be fine. I love it and so does my kitten. Gives me the chance to push more of the corn worlds Best litter along the back and sides, so he can dig and bury with ease. Also keeps the litter in his box. Also the litter doesn't stick to the box and leave a residue like another one I tried. Very happy with this one and after two months use is still perfect. Corner version 2 cats can go at a time, i just didn't need corner version this timeKristen
