2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/28/2016Not so great. The screen is hard to read - there is no 'lock' button, instructions are difficult to understand. I don't like it. I had an MP3 player years ago that was so much simpler. This one is complicated by extra features that I will never use. Plus the screen changes colors with each move of the 'stick' feature at the top, and these make the screen even more difficult to read. Annoying little electronic device.GammyG

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/22/2016Runs for DAYS on a tiny AAA battery! We tried one of those "built-in battery" things and got REAL tired of having to stop and re-charge the thing right in the middle of an audio book. Searched for another AAA battery unit (like ones we'd had in the past) and found this modern one. It WORKS and it runs for days on a single cheap battery. The sound is stellar and clean with easy to use controls for volume, stopping and shut-down, and it always comes back to the exact spot in the story where you turned it off! Get one!rtaylorden

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/22/2016It's Great!Yes, without reading the manual, one could spend some time figuring it out. I downloaded the PDF since the print is too small in some places in the one that comes with it. But once you know the logic behind navigating the NM-105 - and how it works - you'll be good to go. To the one reviewer who states it shuts off without warning, that's due to low battery power. What's great is that it has a shuffle feature for your music when listening. The capacity for 2,000 titles is more than enough and it responds well to commands when navigating the various menus. For the price you can't beat it, it does what it says it'll do and the ergonomic design is nice, especially while driving! I just wish the backlight could be set to just one of the colors and that it had an internal battery for USB charging. 5 stars people! :DCorbuttus

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/14/2015You get what you pay for.The screen is difficult to read and it requires a battery cause there is not an internal rechargeable battery. The ear buds are average. The player itself works fine and does what it is supposed to do. Loading it was easy, as simple and drag and drop. For the purpose I am using it for and the price I paid, I'd say it is overall a good value.Skip

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/08/2014Worth the price for what is doesI needed another MP3 player right away as mine was playing out. I did not want to spend all kinds of money when all I needed was an FM player with the ability to download music. For the price, this one does all I need it to do and the sound quality aint bad either.NGSCSports

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/08/2014Don't like itIt was very difficult to understand the Instructional Manual. The small disk that came with it for the drivers was so small it got stuck in the back of my disk tray and now I have to pay to have the entire computer taken apart to remove it. Also, it is not real easy to use and extremely hard on batteries.Toots61
