Awesome Router
Easy to setup, just have to download the app. You can see who's connected to your WiFi and block access if needed. Great for when the kids are grounded! Great WiFi range too. A little big but just check the dimensions first.

Avoid this router
I've had nothing but trouble out of this router. Within 6 months after I first bought it, it stopped working due to a bad auto-update. I manually updated the firmware with my laptop

    Netgear RAX35 V2 Review
    Very pleased with my new Netgear AX3000 RAX35 V2 Wifi 6 router. Significant speed boost from my prior router - no problem hitting max speed on my 400mbps cable internet. Boots in about a minute, setup was fast and easy, and range really impressed me. I was super positively surprised by the range - Netgear recommends this for small to medium homes (1500 Sq feet). I placed this in the center of my 4000 sq foot home and was able to get great signal all the way out in my driveway, 80-100 feet from the router and through 4 walls. No dead spots anywhere in the house. Amazing! This router well exceeded my expectations.

    Is all that I needed.
    I was unable to port forward from my ISP router, along with a number of other functions, and this router came to the rescue! I love it, as it provides much more for its value.

    Terrible reliability - drop connections
    I used this to replace a TP-LINK 6-year old router. But after using this Netgear router for a month, I switched back to the old router. I had to reboot the Netgear router every other day, it dropped connections for my devices. I have a lot of smart devices - cameras, lights, switches, without wi-fi connection, they become worthless. What made it worse is that the Netgear router takes 3 minutes to fully reboot. I would have to wait for 3 minutes for the network to come back. With my old router, I do not need to reboot the router for many, many months.

    Good router, decent firmware, HORRIBLE software.
    Too much adware (asks for subscriptions in the app) CONSTANTLY and I mean CONSTANTLY sends alerts that “no threats found on X device” with no ability to turn it off other than disabling notifications in iOS. I would do a 4 star, but this thing puts out an ungodly amount of interference that my analog desktop speaker's constantly hiss and buzz, and you can hear the buzz match a speed test.

    Nice middel of the Road router
    The set up was pretty simple through the Nighthawk app. Im getting better range and definitely accommodates the 700mbps wireless speed of my ISP. Only giving 4 because i had to order a replacement right away. First one wouldnt set up properly and wouldnt factory reset to tey and atart over. Overal an excellent router for a 1200 sgft home or smaller.

    This router Is pretty good. Able to stream and game effortlessly plus the wifi 6 is strong. Only con was it was not a simple plug and play I had to use my pc to log into the router itself for full setup. Maybe I just wasn't lucky or this is how it works nowadays. Either way I'd buy it again since the price is great.

    Pretty good performance for average user
    Got at a great price (about $50 plust tax). Recived RAX35v2 which is the triple core version. This is the second Nighthawk of this model that I have purchased. I simply give them some time to reconnect after letting it upgrade it's firmware and everthing is working fine (using same SSID for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and letting connections be decided by device capability and signal strength. I have 35 smart devices attached and it way outperforms the AT

    worst router i have ever had. ive gone through two of them in the last year. same thing totally drops 2.4 ghz and its no where to be found on network. you call netgear and they want you to buy a package worth more then the router. terrible customer service. terrible router dont waste your money on thi garbage.
