not worth the price
had mine year and half and one night I turned it on and it actually caught my wall on fire. it shorted put! so be cautious and be home when using the heater part of it. it done good for year but after yr might want get new one

    If I had it to do over...
    I purchased this for aesthetics, installing it inside a fireplace mantle. It was easy enough to install so that was good. But the "flame" looks fake. Not at all like the picture. It doesn't go all the way across, and what looks really fake are the "flames" the float up beyond the rocks look more like bubbles than flames. Also, the fake glass rock size, which should be tumbled glass not acrylic, is too large. Needs to be 1/4" not 1/2". In hindsight, I would not purchase this again.

    I never turned it on and never checked the heat and the colors. I will return it because I do not like the way it looks on the wall. Its too thick. Thanks for the fast shipping.

    FABULOUS electric fireplace!! Easy to hang. Easy remote controls. Easy to install crystals and stones that highlight flames. Choice of '3' flame colors: 1. true look of fire (mixed red, orange, yellow), 2. solid royal blue flames, 3. mix all colors. Unit has FIVE dimmer settings to set a beautiful ROARING fire to a fire that looks like it's dying out. The visuals provide tranquility and calm. A GREAT feature in this unit is that the flames work with or without the heater on, thus, you can enjoy the fire effect without a higher electric cost to continuously running a heater! My 36" is hung mid wall / looks like the perfect size fireplace. My next one will sit on the floor, to appear like an actual built in. Really enjoying this electric fireplace (and at a great price too).

    Nice size. Easy to hang and looks good high on the wall or down lower by the baseboard. I like that I can run it with or without heat. I don't know how well it heats the room since I'm in Texas.

    As expected.
    We had a similar unit that went out. This one is louder and doesnt seem to put out heat like the other one. It was about the same price but doesnt have the features. Works but kind of a disappointment.
